By complaining he helps to keeps Kosovo from making any progress in erasing it's fake state status. Some US elements and EU elements were hoping that Serbs would grow tired and eventually capitulate. However, the more Serb officials complain and Europeans like the Italian envoy apologize the more Kosovo as Serbia remains in the world's consciousness. I said it before and I'll say it again, Serbs are stubborn and this is what will NEVER allow an Albanian Kosovo to progress. Negotiation is the only and intelligent answer.

Dear Zoran
Can you substantiate in any meaningful manner your claim that Serbia is the powerhouse of the Balkans? I have a hard time seeing this. What facts do you base this assertion on? Do you have some hard economic figures? Perhaps some infrastructural miracle that I am not aware of? Or is it just blind nationalism for your country? Please clarify so the rest of us can see your point of view. Thank you.

Some countries just need to make a decision whether they want to trade with an illegal entity called "Kosova", where they can barely keep the electricty running, or with Serbia, that powerhouse of the Balkans.

It's not a difficult choice really.

Sorry miri but I have found Kate to be very honest and accurate in her posts here on B92. It is obvious that she found an outdated list as it mentions "Serbia and Montenegro", which we know doesn't exist.

Sometimes people make honest mistakes but when people call them a liar for doing it, it doesn't deserve a response.

The italians appologized because they know Serbia is way more important to them and to Europe then impovrished Albanian. I wonder which will be the first country to revoke its illegal recognition of Serbias southern province?
(Mikael C, 12 February 2010 11:40)

Ye ok but almost anyhting that will go to Serbia from Italy or the other way has to through some other country. Wonder how good are Serbias relations with its neighbors?

We all know the answer to that question.

And the other aspect of the comment lets make a bet what happens before someone withdraws recognition or someone recognises.

Any bets anyone lets go 20:1 bets that more recognitions are to comme

This are the countries officially invited (Slovenia, Croazia, Serbia, Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania e Moldova.) you can find easily in the official invitation form..
So the Serbian minister was aware that Kosovo has been invited as a nation so why did he make this ridicolous behaviour ? he knows that Italy recognized Kosovo and obviously invite them in this kind of conference ...Why didn't he stay at home whe he saw who was invited ??
