You see "Andy", Cyprus is according to the whole world a country. Kosovo is not. Its according to the big majority of all coutries a south Serbian province. And do you know what...even if Cyprus was the last country in the whole world to say no to Kosovo independence, Kosovo would never, ever join the EU. So there you go for "not important".
But Germany and the European Central Bank (ECB) took a hard line, arguing that the bigger risk to the euro's stability came from bailing out a profligate member state which has notched up a budget deficit of almost 13% and a national debt of nearly €300bn.
And then "greeks" cry about the 2 billion that Kosova received in funds since 1999.What a joke.
Our albanian posters want further conflict by advocating the destruction and invasion of Cyprus by Turkey. Conflict resolution by force and intimidation financing by drug/heroin trade and human slavery....nice example of 21st century politics by our peace loving albanian posters.
The only problem here is that, Kosovo does exist as a solid country, while cyprus its fake, & as greece is weakening as days come by, cyprus will soon end up as a whole country under Turkey,s territory.. mark my words, on this one, Kosovo will succeed a lot more within a year, between 2010 & 2011 than cyprus did from 70s till now. & the reason for this is?.. that Uncle Sam, and the rest of EU have their hands on it,, the EU& USA wont let this slip and loose Kosovo case, because if they did,, then simply EU will be demolished, bit by bit,, plp & other countires will loose their trust in EU and the USA, it,ll be a nightmare for the west...

I really enjoyed reading your posting calling the Republic of Cyprus a fake country and calling kosovo-a province riddled with any kind of crime one can think of-a solid country.
You forgot to mention the illegal occupation of the stolen Greek lands in Cyprus which have been Greek for 3500 years.
I wouldn't expect an Albanian occupier like yourself to have the courage and share the truth with the other posters.Albanians believe as much in international law as Turks do.
