Mircea, as I live in Moldova and come very regularly in Romania I am sorry to say that even without figures I dare to say Serbia is better of then your country. Romania is poor. You write about farmers and their subsidies but I only see extreme poverty in your country even in Bucharest.
And in the rest of Europe Romanians are only known by the skimming and fraud of millions and their Gypsies begging for money. Long live your membership!

Mircea, generally in life loans are not equal to actual wealth.

its a basic law of capitalism, you should know it by now, after all those years in the free western heaven you live in.
(Pyrros, 3 February 2010 16:51)

You reminded me the communist doctrine that was implemented during communism in Albania.

We were always told that Albania does not have any foreign debt, hence is the richest country in the world. Yes, that's right this is what we were told,(not that we believed in it).

Pyrros,

Romania is better than Serbia in many areas.

According to a Eurostat newsrelease on 15 December 2009, Romania has a higher GDP per citizen than Serbia.

Romania has access to the EU's Structural Funds and the Cohesion Fund which are helping my country to develop.

Romanian farmers receive direct payments from the Common Agricultural Policy.

Romania will join the Schengen Area in 2011 and will adopt the Euro in 2015.

Serbia does not have access to the resources available to Romania as a member of the EU.

For the moment is safe to say that in 2014 maybe Croatia and Iceland will be in...But things are very uncertain...
As for the comparison between Romania and Serbia please Mr.Pyrros show us some numbers !

Mircea!!
Nice one!
Ever went to HR? all their wealth is from loans! local production is killed by Germany.

PS
Even today Serbia is better than Romania which has been in the EU for ages...

Mircea

Does anyone believe that "Agenda 2014" will be successful?

I think that Croatia is the only Western Balkan country which has a chance to join the EU by 2014.

Croatia will probably join the EU on 1 January 2012.

C´mon €U, give us some money in advance. We want to become instant millionaries now, not later....

Sitting on our hands waiting for something (to get rich suddenly) to happen are paralysing serbia in a western controlled limbo of unfulfilled expectations due to propaganda lies. We should get rid of dictator Tadic and his regime and enhance the relation with our brothers in the east and the rest of the free world.

Look at Ukraine & Georgia, thats what serbia is now. If Tadic looses another election he will simply claim victory with western blessing and go on with the destruction of Serbia.
