Is anyone still questioning why Serbs don't want anything to do with the Federation?

Hey I have an idea. Let's send Sonja Biserko, Natasa Kandic, and Cedo Jovanovic to Gornja Moaca! They can live with the Wahabi brethren they love so much. Then they can all have Madeline Albright visit their village as an honourary guest.

I guess these "freedom fighters" flewn in on american planes are getting a bit too much, even for Bosnia.

The west uses the extremist islamists and then drops them to the garbage can, when no longer needed... What an hypocrisy.

I thought there was no islamic extremism at all in Bosnia?

If we believe the leaders in Sarajevo Bosnia is someting like Sweden or Denmark.

But hey, Bosnia will not enter the EU the coming 20 years. So...

If the Bosniaks - as hitherto generally moderate, secular-minded Muslims - hadn't been attacked in the 1990's, these foreign fundamentalists would never have set foot in Bosnia.

What Serbs did in Bosnia was defend their territory and their people. If that's a crime then we are guilty. If America and the EU had to chose between Serbs and Wahhabis I'm pretty sure they would chose us, the Serbs.

As an Albanian I believe that islam has been a very shovinistic culture for us, and it should be expelled from Albanian areas. We embraced it to survive and separate ourselves for 5 centuries (including my family) but Albanians never believed in Islam, always kept it separate from their tradition and always considered it a foreign culture.

Now islam is being presented in the Balkans in its most agressive and repressive form. 500 years islam and an Albanian still needs to learn arabic to pray. The morning prayer is still in arabic and no-one understands what the hell is being said. Scepticism is seen in the eyes of every simple albanian. This can not be said for Catholic and Orthodox religion which have been using albanian language for religious rituals for centuries.

There is no pride in islamhood for any Albanian, besides the brainwashed ones.

Islam has attacked some of the most basic traditions of the Albanians one of which is that of justice, which Canun of Lek Dukagjin regulates through a senate (Kuvend) and debate between people - the Greek-Roman version of jsutice -"Canone & Convente". Islam on the other hand does not allow debate (hence democray) cause the word of God (Kuran, Shariah) is not up for discussion. Yet a few Albanians believe in islam out of ignorance and poverty. Serbia made sure these last ones were present amongst the K-Albanians all the time.

I think Serbs and Albanians might have a common goal here they can use to improve their relations.

michael - I always thought you and me have some comon ground of understanding. Because your Islamic fanatics and their supporters ,they are a very small minority in Bosnia. I could say the same of the Serbs and I would not be far off the mark. Most Bosnians are nice and fiendly hospitable people. Personaly of the the three groups I have dealing with in Bosnia the Bosniaks come out in my estemation as the best of the three. The road that leads to Gornja Maoča is almost completely unpassable and all of the road signs pointing towards the village are in Arabic.

As for the question in hand, I am for the human rights, but sorry man, you can not live within a state with certain laws, and simply ignore this. You can have your own world even within a state with laws. The Talibans came to power in a legitime way, it is another story than the kind of regime they putted there. While living like this and ignoring every law, it is indeed illegitime.
I am muslim, and Albanian. I love being muslim, and I love being Albanian. I am against the declarations of Kosova-USA as far as it concernes the Arabs. To all my fellow Albanians of Kosova I would ask to stop it with the antimuslim fobia> Kosovo is indipendent, but alas, as a serbian fellow says here, its indipendence is not yet full as far as it is not a part of UN. You need those arabs, ye, and if you dont know how to do a foreign policy, think deeply and frankly, you dont even know than how indipendence is to be protected. And reflect: If you have no vision in defending your indipendence through a smart foreign policy, do you really deserve it? If yes than protect it, and stop with the islamofobia.

Religion is a personal matter and how you practice it to achieve enlightenment or go to heaven is a matter for that individual person, but it has to be done in peace. However, Wahhabism demands violence towards infidels or “latte” Muslims and there is no tolerance towards any other religion or religious groups, much like George Bush’s statement “you’re either with us or you’re against us”.
Many fine things came out of the 19 Century, but certain elements of religious theology is not one of them –whahhabis and certain Christian sects that believe that if you fill the land of Israel with jews then Jesus will return and make everything right.

Arguing that exodus of One million albanians started with NATO airstrikes and was caused by them is the most foolish thing I've ever heard...we all had TVs during the war and we all could see refugees by thousands crossing the border with Albania during early summer 1998...i.e. one year before NATO got in.
For instance, most of the villages around Deçani (where I come from) were cleaned in August 2008...I even saw my neighbours arriving in Tropoja (Albania) on CNN !!!!!! So there's no need to discuss this story unless you want to make yourself foolish...

There were tons of UNHCR reports counting refugees long before NATO...
And even after NATO started its campaign, all foreign reports stated that the exodus was accelerating because of serbian forces' repression as retaliation against NATO jets they were unable to hurt....

Whatever Alija Izetbegovic had in mind when he penned his ominous Islamic Declaration, I'm pretty sure he didn't envision turning the environs of Brcko into some kind of Little Afghanistan. The Serb (and occasionally also Croat) forces attacking Bosnia paved the way for the Mujahedeen, not some vast international capitalist-NATO-imperialist-Nazi-Catholic-Islamist [insert missing parties here...] conspiracy.

As for Arabs they had their enlightenment about 7-8 centuries ago and now their back to the "Middle Ages."

Fazliu testified that the KLA would KILL anybody who disobeyed its orders. He said, "The order was to leave Kosovo in later stages, to go to Albania, Macedonia, so that the WORLD could see for themselves that the Albanians are leaving because of the harm caused by the Serbs. During the war, the London Times reported how "KLA 'minders' ensured that all refugees peddled the same line when speaking to Western journalists" by threatening the refugee's loved ones.
Goran Stojcik, a Macedonian ambulance driver who worked in the refugee camps during the war, testified under oath at the Hague Tribunal that he had eye-witnessed Western news crews stage-managing fake news footage in the refugee camps. He said, "CNN was the most prominent in stage managing things that were to be filmed." He gave examples of news crews coaching refugees on how to act in front of the cameras. In one example, he said a news crew threw a refugee child into the mud to make him cry for the camera.

Arguing that exodus of One million albanians started with NATO airstrikes and was caused by them is the most foolish thing I've ever heard...we all had TVs during the war and we all could see refugees by thousands crossing the border with Albania during early summer 1998...i.e. one year before NATO got in.
For instance, most of the villages around Deçani (where I come from) were cleaned in August 2008...I even saw my neighbours arriving in Tropoja (Albania) on CNN !!!!!! So there's no need to discuss this story unless you want to make yourself foolish...

There were tons of UNHCR reports counting refugees long before NATO...
And even after NATO started its campaign, all foreign reports stated that the exodus was accelerating because of serbian forces' repression as retaliation against NATO jets they were unable to hurt....

What Serbs did in Bosnia was defend their territory and their people. If that's a crime then we are guilty. If America and the EU had to chose between Serbs and Wahhabis I'm pretty sure they would chose us, the Serbs.

Religion is a personal matter and how you practice it to achieve enlightenment or go to heaven is a matter for that individual person, but it has to be done in peace. As an Albanian I believe that islam has been a very shovinistic culture for us, and it should be expelled from Albanian areas. We embraced it to survive and separate ourselves for 5 centuries (including my family) but Albanians never believed in Islam, always kept it separate from their tradition and always considered it a foreign culture.

Now islam is being presented in the Balkans in its most agressive and repressive form. 500 years islam and an Albanian still needs to learn arabic to pray. The morning prayer is still in arabic and no-one understands what the hell is being said. Scepticism is seen in the eyes of every simple albanian. This can not be said for Catholic and Orthodox religion which have been using albanian language for religious rituals for centuries.

There is no pride in islamhood for any Albanian, besides the brainwashed ones.

Islam has attacked some of the most basic traditions of the Albanians one of which is that of justice, which Canun of Lek Dukagjin regulates through a senate (Kuvend) and debate between people - the Greek-Roman version of jsutice -"Canone & Convente". Islam on the other hand does not allow debate (hence democray) cause the word of God (Kuran, Shariah) is not up for discussion. Yet a few Albanians believe in islam out of ignorance and poverty. Serbia made sure these last ones were present amongst the K-Albanians all the time.

I think Serbs and Albanians might have a common goal here they can use to improve their relations.

I am a bit afraid that it is a one sided love .As soon as the above mantioned "honorable" sorosian would start convincing those wahabis to hold the day of pride in Gornja Moaca each of them would be returned home in four pieces.

The Serbs aren't responsible for every other person. We are not some kind of guardians for the people of the former Yugoslavia. So the only people to blame for this are the people who perpetuate it and those that except it.

No arabs did fight in Kosovo !!! Why should we have needed these extremists since we had the strongest military alliance of the World on our side...they well know that they have nothing to seek in Kosovo...we're europeans and will never risk our friendship with americans and EU for arabs...

And as for History, please stop making me laugh, we're descended from Illyrians, we lived in Balkans far earlier than all Slavs and several Roman emperors were of Illyrian heritage....and Skanderbeg defeated turkish army several times at Europe's surprise...

In 1999 America was friend of Al-Qaida during Kosovo mconfict. Arabs fought in Kosovo against serbs, you can ask David Hicks. The Americans trained Al-Qaida fighters in Albania.

You statment that Arabs have always been weak are facsist. What Albanians have contributed to the betterment of humanity?

Muharem Ibraj and Saban Fazliu, two ethnic Albanian witnesses from Kosovo who testified in Milosevic's trial, said Serbian security forces encouraged civilians to remain in their homes, and that it was the KLA who made the civilian population leave the province. Fazliu testified that the KLA would KILL anybody who disobeyed its orders. He said, "The order was to leave Kosovo in later stages, to go to Albania, Macedonia, so that the WORLD could see for themselves that the Albanians are leaving because of the harm caused by the Serbs. This was the aim. This was the KLA order."
During the war, the London Times reported how "KLA 'minders' ensured that all refugees peddled the same line when speaking to Western journalists" by threatening the refugee's loved ones.
Goran Stojcik, a Macedonian ambulance driver who worked in the refugee camps during the war, testified under oath at the Hague Tribunal that he had eye-witnessed Western news crews stage-managing fake news footage in the refugee camps. He said, "CNN was the most prominent in stage managing things that were to be filmed." He gave examples of news crews coaching refugees on how to act in front of the cameras. In one example, he said a news crew threw a refugee child into the mud to make him cry for the camera.

Essentially what you are telling all of us non-Muslims here is that it is your right to establish an Islamic order over us, and that if "we" meaning non-Muslims, Serbs included resist in any way you are justified in calling in Islamic jihadist trolls to butcher us. Am I reading you? Is this what Muslims have in store for us here in the west as well? I am very angry with my government, it in no way represeted my desires.
