I feel that the future for the province of Kosovo i Metohija lies in the provision of autonomy for the Albanian majority, represented in Pristina, together with the granting of special status to the Serb enclaves of North KiM, Gracanica, Strpce and others, where these communities can be administered from Belgrade.

Maximilian - so called "Ahtisaari plan" is nothing more than plan. This "plan" is not document obligatory for Serbia and K-Serbs. Only document obligatory to Serbia is Resolution 1244. And according to Resolution 1244 - Kosovo is part of Serbia. So only criminal structures in Kosovo - is pseudogovernment in Priština and their illegal structures. UDI is illegal act. European Union as organisation don't accepted Kosovo as "independent", so - be very cautious if You described legal institutions of Republic of Serbia created until Constitution of Serbia in Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija as "illegal".

Well, as far as I can see, this plan to integrate the North is doomed to failure. What then? The only viable option is negotiations while Priština can not claim independence when it does not control the entire province. It looks like some people have some difficult choices ahead as all peaceful paths lead to the negotiating table.
We need to put aside these independence claims or sovereignty claims and work towards some kind of agreement. The reality is that Kosovo is legally part of Serbia and administered by the UN but is recognised as independent by 60 odd countries. This can also be described as more than autonomous, less than independent.
Lets stop with the provocations and learn to live with each other. We are the people of the Balkans after all and divisions only set the whole region back.
