Both President Thaci and former President Ceku have visited Serb communities in Kosova on many occasions. If you work in Kosova as you claim, you would know this.

Also, whenever Albanian NGO's go into mixed ethnic communities to distribute gifts for children, they donate equally to all ethnic groups.
(Michael R., 27 January 2010 18:34)

Thachi and Ceku are (among other things) politicians. NGOs are non governmental organizations. B-92 is a Serbian media outlet. It seems you wrote your post to simply hear yourself here in this forum.

And your point is.... ?

Why only serb inhabited villages, why not visit some albanian inhabited villages near by these two? That will be nice of you b92, just to show your side of humanity!? Just a sugestion!
(Kosova-USA, 26 January 2010 16:14)

Where are you media outlets to deliver toys to children? if you can find me an example, show me where Serb children were given something. You can't, so stop your whining.

Just wondering

If Thaci is the leader of Kosovo why doesn't he visit Serb areas? Just to show his side of humanity!?

This is a very human act to do for kids and I would apeal to B92 to get some extra gifts if they can afford because they might see many albanian kids playing together with serbian kids.So don't say that you didn't know.

this was a great thing to do by B-92. I hope you brought a few things for the little albanian kids also!

kids are kids and too many of them suffer in poverty because the adults around them like to play nationalistic games.

i hope the little roma and Serb and Albanian kids inherit a better world then we were given.

thanx B-92-keep up the good work

# The several-day trip will see hundreds of gift packages given to children in Osojane, which is the first stop today, and also in the Serb enclave of Goraždevac.

For the b92 viewer who indicated that some gifts should be distributed to the ethnic Albanian kids I agree with you. If anyone's curious about the specific type of gifts I contemplate providing for certain type of Albanian kids are models of American,European(especially German)& Japanese vehicles. The reasons are is because some American vehicles feature a unique design & also because some Albanians regard Americans as heroes, why German vehicles for them in particular is because from what I've seen on the news & internet it appears that German vehicles are popular amongst many Albanians and the reason why I contemplate providing them models of Japanese vehicles is mainly because my parents are from a country where Japanese vehicles are predominant so I feel I'm introducing them to the culture or lifestyle of my parents' country and finally I hope I'm not stereotyping Albanians when I made statements about their interest in German vehicles and if no one minds me saying that because most Albanians are said to be Muslim and since most Serbs are non-Muslims, just to be fair, I've been in situations where I purchased gifts for some Muslim & non-Muslim children I'm familiar with.

-- Well, you can always balance out the universe by sending packages of Play-Doh to some Albanian kids in Brdjani if it puts your aching mind at ease.

I have no comment to make on the political front - politics don't come into it.

It's just a really nice thing for B92 to do for the kids.

Peace, hope, food, warmth, safety, love and fun for all children.

B92, you will have to drink that beer in a hurry and leave before they cut off the electricity and you can't find the door in the dark.

Now B92 have began to use "Kosovo and Metohija" and Vuk, the boss, became happy. Bye bye objective/ free press in Serbia.
(A, 26 January 2010 14:07)

I have only seen "Kosova" and never "Kosovo and Metohija" in the press here, so where is Pristina's fair and impartial press???

adrian kola

pre 14 godina

Well when you get in you'll notice that "Metohija" won't figure anywhere, now it's just KOSOVA!
PS: If you're in Prishtina on Friday evening don't hesitate to pop down to Club 212 for a few pints of Birre e Pejes!
Have a nice trip!
