if you would check with your sources, you will find out that Serbia will never be a member of the EU.

EU+USA = NATO

NATO is not a good partner for Serbia!

Serbia is not on the fast track and will probably join the EU in 2018.

That's good Mircea. No rush is really needed for this process. We have visa free travel and the free trade agreement so there's not much more we need from the EU.

I think that Serbian farmers would like their country to join the EU so that they can receive direct payments from the Common Agricultural Policy.

I haven't heard any farmer push for EU membership and there are a lot in my family. In fact, it's more like the opposite.

Whoever wants Serbia to join the EU will have to wait it seems. It could take quite a few more years or it may never happen. Who knows?

In the mean time we have visa free travel and the free trade agreement. That's enough to keep most satisfied.

Nothing against farmers but they may not know the benefits of the Common Agricultural Policy are. Farmers for the most part are not the most educated segment of the population. These are the same folks that believed garlic would help cure the H1N1 flu...

The educated youth of Serbia is pro-EU and thats what ultimately matters....

They did not have legal status to enter,Kosovo at the moment they are detained by Kosovo immigration,no charges have been filed against this serbian radicals.
kosovo officials tell us that there expected to be arraigned in the next 90 days in the meantime there held with out bail.
