UNMIK Chief Lamberto Zannier said at the UN Security Council session that the situation in Kosovo is peaceful and stable.

"The U.S. stated that Kosovo is strengthening relations with neighboring countries and that it is ready to take on a significant role in the region,"
The first part might be true, but what kind of a 'signigicant role' Kosovo should play? Kosovo, the next global or local player? Ridiculous. They are as important as Cyprus, Malta or any other of that size...

It would be even more stable if Serbia would not do her best to destabalize it. So much energy and money spent doing it. It could be spent much wiser in Serbia by trying to improve the economy and the low living standard.

Zannier's speach was excellent. He spoke the truth, which I can't say the same for Mr. Tadic. Tadic's speach had no substance at all. Actually it was so boring.
