(Peggy,) Glad you brought it up. Is that why that "brilliant" Serb hero Dodik. Is having his referendum in February when the winter Olympics is being held trying to destroy Bosnia.

I didn't know that Dodik was planning on some sort of an attack. Who is he attacking BTW?

sj-Well why don’t you build the “LNG super port”? We are. What are you waiting for? Environmental studies impacts to be finished. Oh! I see Croatia has high moral standards and not wish to dirty hands with KGB people or is it because the Italians withdrew from the project. It is for landlocked Central European countries Italy has nothing to do with it. Switzerland ,Austria ,Hungary ,Slovenia and of course yore favourite country Croatia etc.[link][tt_news]=35857&tx_ttnews[backPid]=27&cHash=3baad3fb57 [link]

That’s the Southstream gas pipeline you’re talking about. Yes a branch line is supposed to go from Serbia to Croatia then Slovenia then Italy and Switzerland, but another pipeline will branch off from Serbia to Hungary then to Austria, Slovenia and so on. That’s nothing new about this because it’s been on the cards for years. However, the “on and off” tap is in Serbia not Croatia and it will be Serbia that supplies the Balkans with gas and not Croatia. Serbia is the main distribution centre and if Mesic is to be Chair of Croatian gas well then bully for him, but its Serbia that will run things in the Balkans and that includes Mesic.
The Italians withdrew from a project to build a terminal on the Croatian coast to take ships carrying natural gas due to the project being uneconomic. This was supposed supply gas to Europe independent of the Russians.

For your info, China and Russia signed their final border agreement in Oct 2008. There is no more outstanding border issue between them. China however remains miffed about Taiwan .... guess who she profoundly blames for Taiwan's detachment from the mainland for over 60 years?

If NATO decides to attack Russia, we will see Russia do exactly what she did in 1999 when Serbia was attacked. I know, I know, it is not the same Russia, it is not Yeltsin, blah, blah. But don't forget it is the same fleet, less military, smaller territory and a strong China.
(Mirub Jaget, 23 January 2010 00:30)

Its gas to see these Albanian teenage keyboard warriors mouth off absolute nonsense behind the protection of their keboards. If only their parents knew what they were getting up to.

These teenies have no idea of the changing geo-political climate. It seems to have escaped ther mind that the US is practically bankrupt, wallowing in debts of trillions with an imploding economy with 20%+ unemployment with tent cities while Russia, China and many OPEC countries getting ready to jettison the US dollar. The once mighty US imperialist war machine that waged a bloody campaign in SE Asia is sinking in the sands of Mespotamia and Afghanistan, the blood being drained from the beast's body like death from a thousand cuts.

You see Mirub, the world has come along way since 1999, the US can no longer bully, threathen and wage war like an imperialist power that it once did. We are moving quite rapidly into a multi-poar world. Serbia is not isolated. She has powerful allies, Brazil, Russia, China and India. If you Albanians or your Croatian lapdog friends try any fast moves, hen be prepared to suffer the consequences. Do you honestly think Moscow or Beijing would sit idly by? If you do then you are at worst naive.

Yes Russia is not the USSR, but she still posesses a powerful armed forces and of course so does China. We saw what Rusia did 18 months ago in Georgia when it destroyed a NATO trained and NATO equiped of 40,000 troops in less than 3 days with outdated equipment. Serbia is receiving Chinese aid so that ups the stakes alot.

The vast majority of NATO's armies are paper tiger armies. Just look at what is happening in Afghanistan. They are wilting under the pressure. If you think that for one nanosecond that they would fight the Serb and Russian armies (with Chinese assistance) over Kosovo then you need to reach into the cupboard for a nice cup of strong instant coffee.

Wake up my friend, we are living in very interesting times.

You should read the South Stream Project a little closer before shooting off your mouth. Croatia will be paying transit and other fees to Serbia, not the other way around. Serbia will be the HUB to other Western European Nations including Croatia. So, hopefully Josipovic is more moderate but a little more forceful than Ivo Sanadar.

As for Medic, his actions and words speak for himself. He has contributed to disturbing relations with Slovenia and contiues to antagonize Serbia to the detriment of the democractic institutions of Croatia.

Only extremists support this hothead.

The only thing Mesic is being offered is a mop and bucket to clean the South stream pipeline offices. This information must all come out of that very special Croatian news service only available to Croats.

The Americans want to expand Nato not because of any altruistic intention to protect the world. Far from it. What the US wants is to snarl more and more guillible regimes into Nato to do its bidding and realize its insatiable appetites for more and more military aggression overseas. And of course to sucker these regimes into send their own people to die in places like Afghanistan and Iraq instead of Yankee soldiers.

1. On NATO, Serbia will not join
2. On recognition of Kosovo as being independent, just a veiled warning to all that have done so.
3. On Stipe Mesic and the mighty Croatian Army, well what could they say here except that the Dayton Accord rules out the use of force – for those that don’t understand I’ll translate – Try it and you will be picking up Croatia in pieces, but he did say all of this in a nice way though.

The blah blah comes from the US ambassadors in Serbia or other countries, from fake EU officials, and especially from the quasi-politicians in Kosovo and commentator like yourself who have no clue about almost anything. Russia is Serbia's ally and so they have every interest in Kosovo. Calling Russia a NATO target seems very unwise. Of course you can write that from behind your computer. If so, Russia will aim its nuclear arsenal to every NATO base and NATO capital in case some nut job at NATO decides to do something stupid, which is unlikely with multiple layers of security. Russia does not have to fear NATO, but they should be concerned about NATO's encirclement of Russia.

That’s nothing new about this because it’s been on the cards for years.
4. As far as Russia staying away from Kosovo or it will be a NATO target – they have only begun to get involved. I told you that 2010 is going to be a very important year for change.

You are right: Russia is the target for NATO, like regular pedestrians are target for homeless people begging for some change.

Now they are offering Mesić to be the Chairman of the board for south stream. Putin just invited Croatian Premier Kosor to Russia. Begging her not to build a LNG super port to please join south stream that they will make it very worth wile for the Croatians. Also if they can yous our pipe line and one of our ports to tanker ship their oil for export they say they will make it to be very lucrative for us.
