Holy Roman Emperor...Keep your hands off SERBIA

Not until the pope apologizes for his priests (troops)in the forced conversion of Serbs during WW2, along with condeming croatia's WW2 cardinal for his support of Nazi Germany.

You mean Nis was albanian before the begining of time when the imaginary illirans settled the plains of Serbia. I read somewher that America is planing a trip to Mars. Aren't you going to claim that planet by refering to the illirians? Isn't it also thue that the first man ever is a descendent of the illirians people?

Constantine was Roman -neither albanian, nor Serbian, nor Greek. His father was the Roman governor of the region. Nis naming its airport after him is as cracked as stip mesic claiming Nikola Tesla was croatian-american and albanian muslims celebrating Skanderbeg

Constantin born in Nis. Wow.

So in the twisted logic of our Albanian friends who claim to have been in the region as Illyrians, this makes the first christian emperor of Albanian descent. I suggest therefore that to be a true Albanian the Albanians should follow their greatest leader and go on a pilgrimage and convert to christian orthodoxy at St Sophia in Istanbul (Constantinople).

Now that would be a sight for sore eyes, tongues and computer keyboards.

Why not, there are over half a million Catholics in Serbia and this would represent a historic occassion for them. It would also be an ideal opportunity by the Holy See to mend fences with the Serbian Orthodox Church and paving the way for wider reconciliation with the other Eastern Churches.
