Why don't you take a look at the report rather than assume what you won't find in it?

'. Perhaps they might concentrate on US human rights violations in Guantanamo Bay for a change instead of trying to divert attention from the greatest perpetrator.

Of course you would expect a western human rights body to bag others in the region. Perhaps they might concentrate on US human rights violations in Guantanamo Bay for a change instead of trying to divert attention from the greatest perpetrator. When is Obama going to close it down – another broken promise to add to the long list, eh?
Also, how would it look if Kosovo was the only problem (a US/EU protectorate) in the region; the HRW would stop getting any more funds from the US/EU.

Just to be fair HRW didnt have nice words for Bosnia Croatia or Serbia either.

As for Judicial system, is right and i will start with Justice Minister Nekibe Kelmendi. She has to be sacked ASAP, amongs some judges and prosecutors to be sent to prison.
(Kosova-USA, 21 January 2010 15:31)

so, Kosova-usa, why do you feel that way about mrs. kelmendi? seriously, i'd like yr opinion (and that of others).

and yes, some of these "news" stories seem just a TAD one-sided...

HRW has to be politicaly correct otherwise the report would be scary.Read..
Judicial systen in albanian kosovo only exist to prosecute Serbs with barbed wires and Romas with poison.
Another joke that UN has to hear.

You are really silly! Minorities have more rights than majorities in Italy and in all countries around Europe.
The prove is that k/albanians continue to escape from their "country" to reach, let`s say, Italy for exemple... This means that in Italy they feel better than in kosovo even if the Italians do not like them at all. Please if your "country" is so beautifull and respectfull of all the people... REMAIN THERE!

Strange - the Search News feature doesn't seem to lead to any stories on the HRW report on Serbia yet. A Reuter's story ("Balkans: Human Rights Lagging" http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/HRW/9a4d9a76422de919728c1b775ef39fa5.htm) suggests that there's room for improvement everywhere in the peninsula. The report itself (available at http://www.hrw.org/world-report-2010) suggests that there's room for improvement everywhere in the world.

It's disheartening that the UN itself is dragging its feet on bringing its own representatives in Kosovo under the rule of law.

Express BTW has an article outlining all of the main problems the report found in Kosovo. Acknowledging problems is the first step toward solving them.

The Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities are the most endangered minorities in Kosovo, the report says.

This is not true at all. All of the above minorities have more rights and are much safer that ,lets say in Italy,Serbia any other country in Europe.
