“illegal International Civilian Office (ICO) and the illegal institutions in Priština"

Lol, this chap is getting hilarious. Next, he will say the world is Illegal as it has been unfair to Serbs. Nobody takes him seriously. He is just selling this to the Serbian audience.

If ICO is illegal, why not file a lawsuit at ICJ?

So many of these comments smack of laziness and sloppiness.

Kosova-USA, wrong, the "ICO office" was not "appointed by none other than EU."

PNN, you would know why he can go so far as to call the "ICU" illegal if you knew where the ICO gets its authority. I'll give you a hint, it's not the EU. Look up ISG, and look up its member states, and its mission.

Zoran, the plan for Mitrovica is an ICO plan, not a EU plan. Feith wears two hats in Kosovo(ICR and EU rep), and the Mitrovica plan is an ICO plan being put forth in his role as ICR. He can do that openly because Serbia made the mistake of allowing the EULEX to come in as "status neutral." Because the ICO is pro-UDI and pro-Ahtissari, and the EU is just neutral, arguably, there is no conflict of interest in Feith's wearing both hats and working towards Kosovo's independence. EULEX is status neutral, and will be during its stay. The ICO, as long as it stays, will be pushing implementation of the Ahtisarri proposal as a final settlement - and EUs response will be: "sorry Serbia, we are status neutral and do not have a mandate to do anything about it."

Jim, Feith is not overstepping the boundry of his authority, as ICR. In fact he's carrying out the ICO's mission, and there's no one in the province to stop it - except UNMIK theoretically. And, we know they are being down-sized as time goes on.

Johny, Serbia did not "sign on the dotted line" and agree with ICO. In fact, the ICO/Ahtisarri Proposal was never endorsed by the UN Security Council. It is why the FM can say it is illegal, and it is an issue that probably will be raised during the upcoming UN Security Council meeting on Kosovo.

The ICO/ ISG is an organization that came to life as a result of the Ahtisarri-Proposal, and the ISG's primary goal is Kosovo's independence under A-Proposal.

The west is playing a clever game here, and I'm afraid Tadic is not on par. However, the A-proposal is just that, a proposal, and it was not agreed by the UN Security Council, or Serbia, as a final settlement. Nothing can be accomplished without Serbia's consent if peace/stability is the goal. 1244. The ICO is not in Kosovo under 1244, and thus is illegal. There, I said it, too.

The ICO should be forced out. How? An ICJ ruling in Serbia's favor would help. More importantly, let's see how loyal Serbia's allies really are. Or, does the loyalty end at South Stream? Time will tell.

This is how politics works with the clown in Belgrade. They'll agree, sign on the dotted line, then when they don't like something they will start name-calling. First it's "illegal" than "terrorist", etc etc.

Serbia you are seriously have become the regional joke.

I assume this is retaliation for Government of Kosovo expelling a Persona Non Grata recently?

I think Jeremić‘s statement “illegal International Civilian Office (ICO) and the illegal institutions in Priština" is in itself illegal. With such statemnts Mr FM is just running diplomaticly amok. Who are you Mr FM to deem ICO and Authorities in Prishtina illegal anyway, when nobody is aking you about the fate of Kosova anymore?!
According to UNSC 1244 Serbia has not right to organize parallel institutions in Kosova anyway. So Mr FM please refrain in the future from making such illegal statements and stop financing illegal parallel institutions in Kosova!

Calling the ICO, a creature of the EU, illegal to a representative of a EU country while applying for membership in the EU is hardly diplomatic behavior.

"Serbia is doing all it can to preserve peace and stability in every part of its territory, including the region over which it does not have full administrative capacity,” Jeremić concluded.

Can you provide specific examples Mr. Vuk?

Also if ICO is illegal why did Serbia sign on the dotted line and agreed with it. Is this one of those specific examples where you strive for peace yet you sign and bring illegal institutions in Kosova that you according to you bring conflict and instability?

Zoran

In case Mr. Jeremic is not aware, that ICO office and its Rep. Mr. Feith has been appointed by none other than EU. He(Feith) represents EU.

Absolutely right that the ICO is illegal. It has not been officially sanctioned by the UN, or the EU for that matter. I can understand why the supporters of the UDI wanted the role linked with that of the EUSR, even though they are officially separate, but I have never understood why Cyprus, Pain, Romania, Slovakia and Greece are willing to let Feith get away with these sorts of provocations. He is clearly overstepping the boundaries of his authority and should be dismissed.

Yet still, I didn't know that he can go sa far as to call ICU illegal.

Nevertheless, you can't expect a better FM from a rougue country, but at least he is entertaining the the region and International Community

The Serbian Foreign Minister is totally correct when he refers to the 'illegal'ICO outfit in Pristina.
This International 'Civilian' Office which is headed by a light-weight former army officer from the Netherlands is a corrupted organisation hell-bent on implementing the Ahtisaari plan and blatantly denigrating the authority of the United Nations.
This ICO/Eulex 'duo' should be rubbished. They are the good cop/bad cop act in a woefully corrupt police station.
