Zvornik, Lovas trials postponed for February

"The trials for the war crimes committed in the territory of the Croatian village of Lovas"

The name of that Croatian village sounds as much "Croatian" to me as "Kosova" Albanian.

The question: what happened with ORIGINAL ethnic element of Lovas village?
The answer: unlike their kin in Vojvodina, probably COMPLETELY cleansed after Trianon. What happened to Hungarians in Vojvodina was a dream come true compared with Hungarians who did not managed escape Croatia in-time after Trianon.

Even if personally I don't mind that the Chain Bridge in Buda would mark the Serbian-Croatian border: that is rather a critic to the "quality" of local politicians. Otherwise, sorry, "Lovas" is not a Croatian name for a village. That way written the name would mean "horseman" in an other language - but knowing the Croatian transcription, the original name was most likely "horse-caretaker" or "Lovász" properly. That village is yours now and I never will ask it to be returned - but truth is truth, even if it hurts.

In fact there has been a long time dispute between my two fellows the mathematician Lovász László and the journalist Lovas István as to who should reclaim that settlement.
Otherwise once Andrássy road becomes slovakian-serb borderine with M3 motorway as continuation their dispute will be over and most possibly the current Novi Pest or Újpest will turn into Dolne Semerovce http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horn%C3%A9_Semerovce
