Heres the thing, most of you call yourself Serbs/Croats. What are you ruining out beautiful country of Bosnia for? Go back to your own proper country. If RS Succeeds, there WILL be another war, if Serbia Participates then their EU Membership is gone for another 20-50 years. If Serbia does not take part then RS will be crushed. Like I said take your baggage and get out of our country, If we all lived in our own lands, in about 50 years we could have another Jugoslavijia, but only if ALL the people are happy with independence becuase It would get boring after a while and we could unite again after such a long time apart. I believe I cannot make myself more clear, If you are happy with RS succeeding you should be ashamed, becuase you a wrecking our country, and thats not a nice thing. Believe me, we dont like what Kosovo/Albania did, just like you. They probably ended us, becuase they took Kosovo, which means Serbia could take RS. But the difference between Kosovo and RS is: RS is part of a International Treaty, Kosovo isn't. If RS Succeeds then Croatia and Serbia WOULD HAVE TO go to Bosnia to stop it, because after all they are the "Guardians" Of the Dayton. You wanted the Dayton you Serbians? Well then you got It, and Succeeding is called breaking the Dayton. What I believe we could do is: Get Rid of the Nationalist Politicians, and take all the Bosnian-Serbs to Serbia, and the Croatian-Serbs. Because then we would all live in our Respectable countries.

In response to Peggy's comments that Serbs in Serbia don't seem to think the Serbs outside of Serbia are as good as them.

This is correct. Even after the war, Bosnian Serbs are still more liked in Sarajevo than they are in Belgrade. That is why we must move on from the failed politics of the 1990 and work for a united, stable, prosperous BiH that gives a future to all its citizens.

Working to destablize BiH does not help anyone, it certainly does not help Bosnian Serbs.

Tis a good suggestion that Dodik runs for the Serbian presidency as he is not doing much for his Bosnian responsibilities. It appears he has already left the building. As long as he takes with him all the others who aspire to be something they currently are not; they are called Bosnian Serbs for a reason.

A long time ago I have stated here that Dodik should be the president of united Serbia.

This would never happen because people of Serbia don't seem to think that the Serbs living outside Serbia are as good as them.

I cannot see them supporting independent RS in the first place because they would fear the battle. I don't think that even Kosovo would be defended all the way.

EU is the most important factor to them as they think that everything in the west is made of gold.

Am I wrong?

To all Muslims and Croatians.
Just start a war go ahead.
You won`t have international support this time which would allow Serbia to invade Croatia and Bosnia with its army and to remove the threat for Serbs.
This time it will not be like in the 90s where Serbia was forced by the West to sit down and let the Serbs in Bosnia fight for themselves...

It is starting to look like "Dodik vs. The Civilized World" and I bet Dodik thinks he can win. I also bet Milosevic thought he could win. We all know how Milosevic ended up and it's starting to look like Dodik will end his career in a similar fashion. If the president of Serbia doesn't support him then who on Earth does? He's a foolhardy man who's run out of political imagination. He's been talking endlessly about referendums (different ones mind you) for years and quite frankly we're all getting tired of his hateful, brutish, immature, and destabilizing policies and statements. Serbia wouldn't be foolish enough to sacrifice it's own path towards EU membership and economic development to help a foreign radical like Dodik. Serbia hasn't even supported radical Serb politicians in Kosovo (part of Serbia) so that their path to EU membership wouldn't be compromised does Dodik honestly believe that Serbia would aid him and risk international isolation and economic collapse for his sake? The simple fact is that Serbia is focused on its own development and given the current economic crisis the country is in that makes a lot of sense. Dodik can not expect any help from Serbia in case a conflict ensues due to him breaking the Dayton Peace Accords, no amount of quasi-ethnic solidarity will trump pure self-interest on the part of Serbian politicians and the majority of Serbia's citizens. The Bosnian Serbs have always been and will always be Bosnian citizens. Bosnia-Herzegovina is their homeland and it is time for them to start to act accordingly.

RS PM Milorad Dodik says he is not opposed to Serbian President Boris Tadić’s position not to support a referendum which would lead to the break-up of Bosnia. Sure not directly Serbian President Boris Tadić’s will pretend to be the good cop. He will negotiate for quasi Srpska he will be a peace maker like Serbian President Slobodan Milošević. If by some chance referendum is passed how fortunate for the Serbia and Serbs but if status quo is still in place they are willing grudgingly live by it until next time nonsence. All of Bosnia i Herzegovina should have a referendum also if quasi Srpska entity should be abolished. Its leaders charged with anti Bosnia i Herzegovina unity and thousands of Serb war criminals walking around quasi pretentious Srpska. Also the hundreds of thousands not allowed to return back to their homes in quasi Srpska. The subterfuge simpletons games they play Dodik and Boris will end.

Tadic "Gandhi" style of leading Balkan politics would be waste, but it can be productive in correlation with Dodik's pragmatism.

And once when all Serbian lands are united (Serbia, Republika Srpska and Montenegro) Dodik seems to be the man for the President.

Starting from that infamous love-letter to George Bush and every blunder & statement onwards, this "president" Tadic has been a worse serbian puppet for the western league than Yushenko or Saakaswili.

Dodik serves the interests of the Serbs and not the americans or the IMF. He´s an honest man and given the opportunity in a fair referendum, he would gain above 90% in Serbia. He´s a true pro-serb.

Dodik is a wise and careful man and Serbia needs a leader like him. In a Dutch news paper I saw an article that Croatia threatens RS with an invasion if RS will hold a referendum about independence form BiH.

http://www.telegraaf.nl/buitenland/5825824/__Kroati_dreigt_Bosnische_Servirs__.html

The article has a big flaw because it refers to Mesic as the Croation preseident. There are a few points that are important. It seems that the West is using Croatia again to do its dirty work and it will be an easy way to get rid of Dayton and RS (of course Croatia will eagerly volunteer and the West/NATO will provide all the supplies). In case this happens I expect Serbia to defend RS at all costs and I hope that the Serbian army and intelligence services are preparing for this scenario. I would like to ask B92 if they can confirm this report and print it here if true. This may be a sign that the ICJ will side with Serbia on the Kosovo issue and NATO wants to take early steps to prevent RS from declaring independence, which would be a logical step if the ICJ ruling is ignored by "Kosovo" and its Western masters. We are living in dangerous times.
