Ian, I thought that you were supporting the K-Albanian cause here. Now you have gone in to bat for the Montenegrin.

Are you a supporter of everyone who goes against Serbia's wishes or does it just look this way?

Serbia, why you still bullying?,I thought you have matured and did learn from the past but not, just the old way trying to scare and threat Balkans.

GOD BLESS SERBIA, SERBS I VASOJEVICI!!!
(Vasojevici, UK, 19 January 2010 17:41)

If this is how majority of Montenegrins feel, why then does Milo keep winning?

You just had an election not long ago and he won again.

WHY? Who votes for him? Obviously not that many think like you do.

It is unfair that Montenegro has this "extra special" diplomatic bullying from Serbia. Serbia doesn't react the same way to other countries who do the same things. Why should Montenegro be treated differently?

M J

pre 14 godina

Montenegro shouldn't re-examine their decisions. CG is not a Disneyland to change their mind unlike their former union brethren.

On another point
As Kosovo continues its high birth rate, and less of them are being killed, and their exodus to other countries has almost stopped, we find Serbia without Montenergro, Kosovo,RS, and Vojvodina. with its population in decline (about 30,000 less each year), visa liberation to shengen (alot of young Serbs will use this opportunity to migrate out to Europe), minus the minorities in Serbia proper.

In about 25 years the legends will start: Once upon the time there use to be Serbs living here...

I am so tired of all this talk about "stabbed in the back." it's an overworked metaphor, a cliche. besides, wasn't that the very same thing that "funny" guy in the last century was always barking?

Montenegro is an independent country, in case some of you didn't notice. your yugoslavia/serboslavia is no more, and blgrd does not control all of the other... satellites.

as for the condom comment, it says much more about the purveyor(s) of the comment than the on-the-ground reality. yes, you can ignore demographics all you want and even attempt thru brutal force to alter them, but it will be at your own risk, and bounce back to haunt you. as it has, big time.

montenegro has its share of war crimes to answer for, esp. ag. the croatian and bosnian people. the govt. has never come completely clean with its own past. but at least mont. switched sides, and turned decisively ag. the milosevic program. let's say they acted pragmatically. and thank god. we're still waiting for the blgd regime to do likewise.

thank you.

'For those 1.9 million unemployed albanins in Kosovo I have an advice: open a condom factory in Kosovo!
(MikeC, 19 January 2010 15:44) '

By all means, open as many factories as possible, of all kinds, in Kosovo, but don't worry about the birth rate - it's only about 2.5 total births per lifetime per woman these days. (By comparison, it's 2.1 in the U.S. Replacement level is 2.1, so while Kosovo's population is growing, it's not doing so all that fast. Especially not considering the infant mortality rates, which are a definite cause for concern. Poverty is not good for children or other living things.) http://www.prb.org/Datafinder/Topic/Bar.aspx?sort=v&order=d&variable=117

CG considered, reconsidered, and double considered the issue and then decided to recognize Kosovo. This was not a statement of friendship between CG and Kosovo nor was it to hurt Serbia but more likely to stamp their own independence from Serbia. At the same time Montenegrins re-established their nationhood.

examine the fact that 99% of the people in Kosovo are Albanians and don't want to be a part of Serbia!
(Krasniq't, 19 January 2010 14:24)

So it's 99% now? Soon it will be 101% but even so, Serbian-Albanians control about 60% of the territory. The other 40% is loyal to Serbia.

Serbia shouldn't loose part of its territory due to extreeme birthrates amongst albanians living in Kosovo.
MikeC
Serbian birth rate is the problem not Albanian. After the WWII Serbian birthrate started its big decline, while Albanina birthrate did not change until recently, Albanian birthrate is in decline too.
Blame for low Serbian birthrate falls to Serbians and their will.

I am from the Pleme Vasojevici and i tell you this!, these in Podgorica do not represent the views of the people in Crna Gora! Djukanovic has done nothing for this country but isolate and back stab our brothers, and for what??? So he can stay out of jail and keep attacking Serbias intrests. We are sending our men to die in Iraq and Afghanistan for the same people who killed your people! Wake up Crnagoracs! Where are been used like the Albanians and Bosniaks and look at there situation now!!!

GOD BLESS SERBIA, SERBS I VASOJEVICI!!!

Only when Mr Djukanovic starts to occupy his rightfull place which is called jail, we shall see our relations with Montenegro back to normal or more. This oportunistic crook has done enough damage not only to Serbia but Montenegro as well and it is only matter of time before he goes, and thanks God for that.
Poor Njegos is probably turning in his grave right now....

You are missing the point! The territory on which these "99 percent" albanians live belongs to Serbia. Serbia shouldn't loose part of its territory due to extreeme birthrates amongst albanians living in Kosovo.
Besides the last 50 years Serbs have been systematicaly expelled by our dear neighbours the albanians.

I don't think that Podgorica will withdraw its recognition of 'kosovo'(sic) because the money it received from Washington/Berlin for this silly recognition has already been spent. Things are tight now in Crna Gora and 20 pieces of silver don't grow on trees.
