I pitty an upbringing that doesn't realize common sense and lives in world that doesn't ask questions and reacts like a robot! Don't take personal attacks on when you don't even know me!
Compassion! Tell me about compassion? Ask those Iraqi civilians in the Middle East what type of compassion they received from the USA!
Amer, even if the Haitians don't have an army (I am not too familar with their country), the USA can always train them for "special assigments" in the Middle East. They have a large enough population.

It is so sad that many Europeans - especially from small countries - calling themselves christians can not understand that yes somebody or some country can help without any strings attached.
I am originally from a small country, Hungary myself and I am shocked at this narrow-minded un-christian attitude.

The USA is the leader in assisting countries in Natural disasters! Help is on the way! However, nothing is free. Haitians will be ready to send troops to the Middle East when called upon and can not take no for an answer! Haiti literally became a US colony once the earthquake occured. Best of luck to the Haitians in this horrific disater. That is why the USA is the most powerful nation.

Haiti no longer has an army - it had a habit of overthrowing whatever government was in power and the country is better off without it. So - no troops. Don't worry about their being invaded - no country in its right mind would want to take the place over. The people are wonderful - they don't deserve either their rulers or the unending series of catastrophes the country has endured throughout its history.
