Serbia today decided to recall its ambassador in Montenegro for consultations, after Podgorica announced it had established diplomatic ties with Priština.

Mr. Tadic,
You should start re-thinking your strategies. Obviously if you have recalled the ambassador from Montenegro then why you are keeping others who have done the same thing in recognizing this puppet state in Pristina.
Takenote on the US ambassador telling that Serbia has no authority in Kosovo. Why did you not react on this?? Why did you not kick him out of Belgrade?? Why keeping relation with this 65 states who ignored and disrespect Serbia's Territorial integrity and sovereignty??

PRO-SERBIA

Another Stab on the back for Serbia, Mr. Tadic should learn that Montenegro and Macedonia already been bought by the WEST.

And they will follow whatever the WEST tells them.

Serbia should stop dealing with them….

This is so funny. Serbia should change its name to KINDERGARDEN REPUBLIC!!!

as an albanian you come to a Serbian site to provoke and this is the best you can do?

This is the beginning of the end of Djukanovic (about time already). Serbia was the first to choose a new direction of fresh leadership with Tadic, Croatia has just followed suit with Josipovic, all that is left is to get rid of Djukanovic, then things can really progress forward for the whole region. Unfortunately absolute criminal leaders will absolutely never give up their power so I see very tough times ahead for the regular everyday montenegrin citizen whether your ethnically serbian, montenegrin or albanian. Its always the innocent people that suffer because of the rich, political and criminal leadership.

Montenegrin has a chance to get rid of him at the last elections. They didn't.
So what is Serbia supposed to think but that Montenegrins (Serbs) have done it.

Why was he elected again if Montenegrins don't feel this way?

Well they won't be back in Kosovo as long as albanians are there. Kosovo in about 50 years will be the regional economic centrum and a strong european country so Serbia can only dream about occuping it again.

Kosovo is independent and will forever stay so. There is nothing serbs can do to change that now or never.

Montenegrin elites have the same problems as Ukrainian and Belorussian ones. All three received their independence without any bloodshed. But because the difference between Serbs and the Montenegrins (as well as between the Russians and Belorussians and Ukrainians) is merely seen all three strive hard to increase the tense and to poison the relations. think Kosovo's recognition by Montenegro is as good as Djukanovic's hold on power. After that I just hope our ethnic Albanians are just as nice to this small country as they are now.

Be nice to our brothers. Not everyone agrees with Djukanovic and they are under a lot of pressure. With Visa free travel in place, Montenegro may experience financial difficulties this year. I would hope ethnic Albanians help out and travel there during this summer.

Mike

Quite honestly, let Montenegro do whatever they want. Their little shenanigans won't get them into the EU any quicker as they might think. I also recall that they had some problems with certain neighbours in regards to land borders and even some seperatists brewing there. I can understand that Serbia is not happy, however their diplomatic response will not change anything. It is only natural for Montenegro to establish diplomatic relations with a state it has explicitly recognised.

Yes Serbia said Montenegro should wait for the ICJ ruling, however Serbia has said it won't recognise Kosovo no matter what the outcome is, so why should Montenegro wait for the ICJ ruling if Serbia is not going to respect it?

Somebody on the Serbian page said that almost all the "Montenegrin" students in Serbia were actually self-described Serbs. Do you want to cut off their ties to their motherland? Their families probably voted against the current government - is it fair to punish them?

And on another note, has it been decides whether the Montenegrin minority in Kosovo gets its own star in the flag?

It is now the time for Serbia to do, either

Trust me, it would have been much cheaper for all sides. Especially for the so called 'Minister for Kosovo'. The year 2010 appears the year of stability for the Balkans. Everything is heading towards final push for long term peace, progress and stability.

With the recognition of Mauratania, handcuffing of Bogdanovic and throwing out of Kosovo, with EU/EULEX sincere determination to create end anarchy in the North, and now with completing diplomatic relations with all our neighbours (today with MNG)...Albanians cannot think of something of another word except GREAT start of the year for the entire Balkans.

Serbia with its Mickey Mouse institutions, ministries and constitutions is heading towards dead end. This is now beginning to worry me. You need a new government!

Slowly but surely the vectors are going on the right direction.

It is now the time for Serbia to do, either
a) Appoint an ambassador to Pristina, or
b) Change the name of the so called 'Ministry for Kosovo' to Embassy of Serbia in Kosovo.

Trust me, it would have been much cheaper for all sides. Especially for the so called 'Minister for Kosovo'. He would not be tired travelling on roads between Belgrade and Merdare or Pristina, instead he would have a nice office in Prishtina. As a result, Serbian community in Kosovo would have a more prosperous future, and together with the region, in the EU.

Yaroslav

pre 14 godina

This should be the last straw.

Serbia should once and for all carry out an investigation into the investments Djukanovic clan and their associates have in Serbia, the source of their money and legality of investment.

Serbia should also stop giving free medical services to Montenegrins using our ealth care Services.

We should stop treating their university students here the same as local studients.

We should also start revoking the right to work and residence for the 300,000 or so Montenegrins who lived and work here. (This act would punish Montenegro and decrease our unemployment by a few percentage points).

It's time for Serbia to start acting towards Montenegro as it has been acting towards us. It's time to end the complacent relations we've had since 1989 when we were members of a joint state and since 2006 that existed for the sake of "good neighbourly relations."

One has to wonder if the U.S. offered Djukanovic more immunity for his drug smuggling now that even more Italian officials have confirmed it. (Djukanovic is the noriega of Europe)

Montenegrin elites have the same problems as Ukrainian and Belorussian ones. All three received their independence without any bloodshed. But because the difference between Serbs and the Montenegrins (as well as between the Russians and Belorussians and Ukrainians) is merely seen all three strive hard to increase the tense and to poison the relations. Otherwise they cannot explain the existance of their newly obtained states. So Serbian elites should be patient as we Russians are. And under no condition you must give up to the provocations Podgoruca will be arranging. Cause unfortunately all peoples are always crowds one can easily manipulate.
