It's funny how Kosovo's Albanians go after Bodanovic but were afraid to go after Tadic. It's easy to a single defenseless individual, isn't it. I guess that's how they like to do it, many against one, instead of one on one like real men do. It says something about their characters. Then again, we already knew that.
(Daniel, 14 January 2010 12:29)

Daniel you are right, but this is not all that interesting. 22 EU countries have recognized Kosovo but none of their ambasadors have been kicked out by Serbian government, but when Montenegro and Macedonia recognized their ambasadors have been kicked out of Serbia.

The Truth

pre 14 godina

This is a bit off topic, but relevant.
I was talking to an authentic Slobodan Milosevic lover in my home town of Chicago. For the first time I finally found one of these elusive, almost mythic people.

I was excited, so naturally I had to ask the obvious question: "why did you support Milosevic?" The response: "because I'm a Serb."

I suddenly felt a sharp stabbing pain in my frontal lobe; it was the unmistakable feeling you get when you walk away from a 30 minute conversation with a yammering co-worker--the feeling you get when you know that you just got dumber. Because "I'm a Serb." What the hell does that mean? So just because you're a Serb you're supposed to support whichever maniac your people selects as your leader? Why can't people disassociate themselves from their blind allegiance and make decisions based on right and wrong and whats in the best interest of the people? If you're going to justify your choice of a moron as your leader with a blanket statement like "I'm a Serb," why not be consistent and stand behind all of the failed policies and atrocities he brought upon mulitple ethnicities and religions? I'm tired of people defending Milosevic. He's a moron. Period. What difference does it make if he is a Serb, or Catholic for that matter? Just because you're Serbian and Catholic doesn't mean that you're suddenly void of making wrong choices and decisions. It doesn't make you impervious to mistakes. Point being, its time to reevaluate what you thought was right and noble. Its ok to be wrong.

Note: before you write hate mail about what I've written, let me know if you're a Milosevic fan in the title of your comment so I can ignore your opinions more conveniently. Thanks.

Bogdanovic said he came to “learn about the problems they face, and how to reconcile different opinions present in that community.” THank you for your effort Bogdanovic, we have now enough people who can look after themselves and we do not need Serbia to take care of our internal problems. I am sure Serbia has enough of their owns and you are the last person to worry about us. You should have been there when Serbian machinery massacred thousands of Albanians, not now. You are there just to incite violence among us, let us deal with our own problems and never show up to bring more hatred... enough of ur propaganda

Bogdanovic cannot undermine your soveriegnty since you do not have it, you are not a member of the UN, hence there is no treason and therefore your actions are illegal. Thats actually pretty concrete so you should rethink your quotes before you claim soveriegnty, there is a profound difference between a UDI and a soveriegn state. soveriegnty has to be earned, what you have is merely a by-product of American imperialism. It was "convinient" for the US to create "kosova", nothing more.

As long as Albanians refuse a mutual agreed solution the UN and EU will continue to govern Kosovo.

The solution thus is: a mutual agreed deal!

This is very dangerous commitment by him.

The EU has firmly said that what he was trying to do is not acceptable. Sure enough Albanians wouldn't like him to go and use the same language Milosevic or Tito used for Kosovo being Serbia and other alike political messages.

It seems like the old way of doing things is just not working anymore. Instead of struggling to keep that alive rather focus on finding new ways in doing things.

(Vuk, 14 January 2010 14:23)

Vul, I believe you are aware of the concept of "treason" when a person actively undermines his country's sovereignty? If Bogdanovic wants to run for office in Kosova he's more than welcome to but as Serbia's "Minster for Kosova" (you can't get a more ridiculous post than that) he is conducting treasonous activities and undermining our sovereignty.

Its astonishing that Serbian citizens are willing to allow their Government to continuously boycott every attempt the international community is trying to make to achieve some level of reconciliation between Serbs and Albanians in Kosovo.

From a humanitarian point of view, its even more astonishing that no one (or very few) in Serbia care about the humanitarian consequences that the Serbian boycott of Kosovo is having for the citizens of Kosovo. I do understand that the Serbian strategy here is to exhaust the Kosovar Albanians and to isolate them until they are hungry and tired and just want to have a better life and will be willing to accept anything to get it (even Serbian sovereignty).

That Serbs are willing and even happy to cause this level of (economic) suffering on their fellow human beings proves that they have learned nothing at all from the wars of the 90’s. Personally I would not support any cause that causes any suffering or hardship to my fellow man, even if he happens to be a Serb, its just wrong. Suffering caused by individuals and extreme groups of individuals are one thing, but an organized state attempt (such as the Serbian Government’s) to make life hell for millions of people is something the CIVILISED Serbian people should not allow.

Demi,
Im confused, I presume that you are in support of the independant "Kosova" right? We can agree on that. However I fail to understand why Bogdanovic would be prohibited from being Kosovo? He has not broken any laws and is in fact a private citizen in Kosovo, therefore he should be treated as one? Is it not in your interests as a new nation to demonstrate tolerance and equality for all it's citizens regardless of ministirial positions held in "other countries". It seems contradiction of your interests to throw him out. Surely this demonstrates that who is in power in Kosovo lacks common sense and I think not even the numerous criminals which reside in "kosova" are treated in a similar manner?
Does this help your cause? Does this demonstrate true democratic principles? Is this acceptable in any other country especially western countries where even politians who are rascists are tolerated due to the democratic principles of "freedom of speach"? Does your vocal support of these actions demonstrate to the world also the actual situation on the ground that Albanians living in Kosovo and Metohija approve of such things?
This proves why "kosova" can never be a country; it does not have the founding principles, it is the wild west with collections of foreigners who occupy the land to make sure Albanians do not demonstrate further primitive actions that might actually justify a global response. All the while these foreign occupiers fulfill their task of influence over the region from their military bases.
I for one would be more careful with your comments Demi as you are supporting the stance that Kosovo should not be a country.

Nick KS

pre 14 godina

This sort of attitude is unacceptable by any standard!
Mr. Tadic, should as another person living on this planet have the right to enter Kosovo, he is not banned by any law that has been passed in your courts or any other court, he is not a wanted criminal, he is infact the president of Kosovo and Metohija by INTERNATIONAL LAW, regardless of the situation on the ground.

Demi,
Im confused, I presume that you are in support of the independant "Kosova" right?
