"Macedonia should receive a date for beginning negotiations with the EU as soon as its dispute with Greece regarding its name is solved."

Which in theory means never. In 18 years FYROMians have't tried to solve the question at all, all they say is that we are "makedonija"
And Greece will of course continue to block them.
Status quo until the next generation of politicians in FYROM will grow up in the comming 15-20 years

The new high representative for the EU foreign affairs stressed that her priorities will be to strengthen the Union and to assume a more credible role of the EU in the world. Sure is by giving the EU bureaucrats more powers who are subservients to the new offices. Of the new powers and office of president ,vise president and foreign minister etc. They will make countrys meaningless more like countys and districts powers. Do not make mother EU angry all you bastards and baster-eds or you will be put in your place quickly and mercilessly. This is what she has been striving for centuries and you will not ruin her greatest opportunist golden opportunity. She has dealt with opposition ruthlessly through the centuries their are mass graves from one end of Europe to the other. With her twisted children and followers. She thinks they have the right to rule over everyone else and take what ever they like from the blind fools. They will not be taking no for a answer case in point Lisbon treaty. That is child play to what is coming and what kind of demands they will have. They already have your economys over the barrel one push adiós amigos. So you have to be very nice to the great EU project and subservient, do not forget to smile were one big happy family.

'BRUSSELS -- EU Foreign Policy High Representative Catherine Ashton says the future of Western Balkans will be one of the priorities of her activities.'

I wish H.E. Ms. Ashton success in her new position and I hope very much that she gets her priorities right regarding the future of the Western Balkans.

Openness, transparency and accountability as well as fairness and unbiased decision-making must be to the fore in EU policy towards the Western Balkans.

This, I feel, must put and end to the policy of forced integration; be it in Bosnia or Kosovo i Metohija.
If the people of Republik Srpska decide in a referendum to opt for independence, the EU and others must refrain from putting any obstacles in their way.
I also believe that the recent history of the Western Balkans must be revisited in order to establish the truth about a series of events which were either misrepresented or fabricated.
The facts relating to Srebrenica and Racak must be established.
If Croatia, Serbia and other countries in the region are to progress equally, no one can shut the door on the past. Skeletons will return to haunt.
