Lets see "Kosova"
Problems with everyone except Albania.

Don't worry about governments. I am talking about people.

Greeks don't like you.
Montenegrins don't like you. Well, only the few Albanians there.
Macedonians don't like you. Again, only the Albanian ones do.

Bosnia, 49% is RS who don't like you.

Bulgarians are not thrilled with you either. Don't get excited because their government recognised you. It's politics. Ask the average Bulgarian on the sTreet.

So you see, it is you who are surrounded with hostile people, not Serbia.

To this Balkan update character:
1. Serbia has had a countersuit ready since 2009. Serbia and every government since Croatia filed it in 1999 have said that they favor a withdrawing of the lawsuit by Croatia, but are prepared to countersuit.

It is now 10 years later that this lawsuit has gone forward by Croatian politicians, likely for political points. Serbia responded as it says it would for 10 years. So much for this b.s. claim of Serbia "suddently discovering genocide."

It would be interesting to see if Croatia actually proves Serbia carried out aggresion, since Bosnia had a better case and lost (Serbia was absolved of any wrongdoing in Bosnia, no matter what Bosnian Serbs did).

It would also be ironic since these alledged "Serb actions" had the backing of SFRY presidency by decisions made in early 1991 and MEsic, the Serbophobe, was SFRY president when the "agression" allegedly took place.

And as too Serbia being a problem. Well, it seems all our neighbouring states have problems (and are infact more problem causing then Serbia then your logic). I mean Serbia has problems with 5 of it's 7 neighbours, Croatia with 3 of 4, Bulgaria with 4 of 4, Montenegro with 3 of 4 (and with the non-state Kosovo), Bosnia with 3 of 3, FYROM with 4 of 4.

Due the math Serbia has a trouble rate of 70%, the rest are 75% or higher.

Add that Serbia neighbours more states.

Oh but Serbophobes don't realize how ridicolous their claims are.

Their both leftists (at least nominally). Josipovic seems certain he can win, so he isn't trying to appeal to right-wing voters like Bandic (who incidentally is being investigated on corruption, so is likely trying to become a Croat berlusconni only in power to delay criminal investigation into hisshady dealings).

It's clear for Serb interests that Josipovic is the better choice. At least he said that Serbia has as much right to counter sue as Serbia does to sue.

Everyone knows Serbia is filling the lawsuit from a defensive position. We need to remember that Croatia filled its lawsuit 10 years ago, yet it's only now that Serbia discovers there was a genocide committed against Serbs in Croatia. It's a joke, and everyone knows it.

The truth is, there was no genocide committed by either side in Croatia. There was only one Genocide committed in forrmer Yougoslavia, and that was in Srebrenica. Serbs were found guilty of it by a court of international law that Serbia loves so much. Croatia will not be able to prove a genocide, but it should be able to prove crimes and aggression against its territory by Serbia. We know the Serbs went to Croatia to fight the war as opposed to Croats coming to Serbia. This much is clear.

"Serbian government continues to lead the wrong policies towards a majority of the countries in the region" said Jovanovic the other day & he is right.

"If the Serbian president publicly apologizes for the aggression and comes to bow before the innocent victims of Vukovar, that would be an effort towards honest discussion"

Hasn't Tadic appologized already? Did Croatia, the muslims in Bosnia and the albanians appologize for the atrocities during WW2 when these three people together killed over 1 millions Serbs? They want Serbs to take responsibility but not they themselves. I honestly hope Serbia never appologizes for anything. Serbs were defending themselves as they are defending themselves still to this day from daily provocations from croats, bosjnaks and mainly albanians. Serbs and Serbia should end any cooperation with these three people and create our own future far away from these hypocrites.

Tadic has already apologised. Now Bandic and company wants apologies for specific areas. How many apologies does one need?

And how about an apology for the ethnic cleasning of Serbs from Croatia?

To be clear both Bandic and Josipovic know that the votes of Serbs are crucial and could make or break either of them in the presidential elections. Thats why both are treading relatively carefully, whereas in past years in Croatia there was barely any admission of fault on the part of Croatia.

I would like to see one of the cadidates have the guts to say that Mesic's reduction of that child killer's sentence was wrong.

Now, let's take the Croat candidate's comments and turn them around: “If the Croatian president publicly apologizes for the aggression and comes to bow before the innocent victims of Krajina, that would be an effort towards honest discussion. The truth needs to be looked in the eye. I know that it is painful and that many voters will not accept it, but I believe that Croatia has such potential,” So, what he said really should go both ways. It's as if this man believes that the crimes against Serbs in Krajina, not to mention WWII, were justified.

Tadics mistake was a public apology, this in the west is an omission of guilt, you will never hear a western political figure actually apologise, they will dance around the sorry word but will never say it. The big problem for the people of the Balkans is the fact you all live in the past, constantly i read in the war this was done or that was done, its over Serbia has a democratic goverment, which is working towards the EU. Serbia has also arrested more war criminals than any other former Yugo state. I am sorry but all sides comitted crimes thats war so get over it. What all your leaders need to do is sit down together and look forward, too many leaders and i include western ones as well have too much self interested. What the normal man or women in the street wants be it a Serb, Albanian, English, Russian etc is stability, to be able to provide for there families, work, housing, education and health. Because non of the Balkan states are rich you need to all work together and if the EU is the goal then so be it.

An agreement can be made to help ALL families who are the victims of war, this should be done with EU help and not the courts.

The issues of Kosovo & Bosnia need to be discussed because neither area will move forward until agreements are made otherwise both will be administered for years to come by the EU, UN NATO.

Personally i dont agree with Kosovo independence but having Kosovo as part of Serbia for religious reasons is really beyond me, being a non believer in any form of mythical god. Albanians wanting a greater Albania well your trying to punch above your weight, You are no military or economic power.
