If Serbia ever joins the EU then so will Kosovo as our province
--
Hehehe...sweet dreams. That's why UK, France, Germany and another 19 EU member recognized Kosova.

Zoran

Ok, so it says Serbia will not be able to block Kosovo from joining the EU:

"Another issue is Kosovo. ... the Serbian government must agree that it will not try to unreasonably bar Kosovo from eventual European Union membership."

If Serbia ever joins the EU then so will Kosovo as our province. However, this imaginary "Kosova" will never become a member. Not only because of Serbia but Cyprus, Greece, Spain, Slovakia and Romania will block entry.

Turkey, Albania and "Kosova" will be joining around the same time - i.e. never.

hehe...he will *probably* not be allowed to visit the village. Probably! One would expect that for Kosovo's second-in-charge, he'd know for sure...or just shut up and not make stupid statements, because we all know that someone else is pulling the strings.

"What a blunder! Why would Serbia make some unnecessary, unreasonable moves when it has all the good reasons already on hand?
(Logic, 6 January 2010 18:57)"

If you mean those arguments Team Serbia used at the ICJ, they didn't look so strong after Team Kosovo got through with them.

But I forgot - it's Badnje vece: peace.

Serbia to UNREASONABLY bar Kosovo from joining the EU?

Barring Tadic from visiting one of the only Serbian villages in the area on grounds he might make a "political statement"? That sounds like such a "political move" by the Albanians.

Kuci is a stooge, and he better shut the hell up and not pretend he has any power. As long as EULEX with immunity are in Kosova, Kosova will not be a state and recognitions mean nothing. Allowing this Serb president to come in Kosova in this way is a rape of Kosova's constitution and "independence".

Wouldn it be "embarasing" for him to apply to go to Vojvodina?
(troika melb, 6 January 2010 14:10)

Some of you are like children, repeating the same fantasy over and over and over... Vojvodina is and always will be Serbia. Try fantasizing about something else remotely more possible such as Albanian astronauts on the moon.

Doesn't sound like respecting minority rights, which the Albanians keep saying they will.
(Andy UK, 6 January 2010 11:18)

You are right, since also Tadic is a minority in Kosova.
(Kosova-USA, 6 January 2010 12:58)

......

My point exactly. Tadic is a minority in Kosovo and the Kosovars are certainly not respecting his rights.

Is this what we've become. Where one has to ask permision to visit a village. What happen to the old good days when one could travel from one end of Yugo to the other with ease and pleasure. Is this what the dream of bigger Serbia meant? Live isolated and be hated by your entire neighbors. Tadic should come to Kosovo and apologize for all the crimes that Serbs commited in Kosovo and urge both ethnic groups to reconcile. He should visit both Serb and Albanian villages and urge dialogue as it is the only way forward. However Mr. Tadic is only dressed as democrat but at heart he is just as much a nationlist as his predessor.

"Tadic will visit what he wants to. This will be another embarrasment for K-Albanians. He will also make a political speech.
(Zoran"

The political speech was already done when he needed to "apply to go to Kosovo"

Wouldn it be "embarasing" for him to apply to go to Vojvodina?

Obviously Kosovo's Albanians cannot do anything about Tadic's visit to his own country. Even if they desired to, the US and EU would punish them harshly. Tadic is becoming a US favorite. Just read this editorial in the New York Times today:
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/01/06/opinion/06wed3.html
Although the American government still has a pro independent Kosovo stance, it clearly see's Tadic as one of the good guys, one of their guys. So, he'll most likely be free to do his own thing in Kosovo.

Can you believe this stooge Kuqi? Tadic should most definitely go to Osojane if he wishes. The besieged Serbian people there would get a great boost from such a visit and they deserve no less. Slither back under your rock Kuqi.
