Tibor Varadi says the ICJ will “probably consider Croatia's genocide lawsuit against Serbia and Serbia's countersuit in the same proceedings”.

China will be happy you inducted them into NATO since one of the judges is from China!!!
"The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) is a United Nations court of law dealing with war crimes that took place during the conflicts in the Balkans in the 1990’s. Since its establishment in 1993 it has irreversibly changed the landscape of international humanitarian law and provided victims an opportunity to voice the horrors they witnessed and experienced."
From their official website. Read the charter. However, I do beleive NATO is the best source to handle the balkan issue.

In late December 1999, in an interview with The Observer in London, Del Ponte was asked if she was prepared to press criminal charges against NATO personnel for alleged war crimes in Kosovo by NATO pilots and their commanders. She replied "If I am not willing to do that, I am not in the right place. I must give up my mission".

This was followed by various negative official responses, military and civilian, from the US and Canada. Del Ponte's office subsequently issued a statement, dated four days later: "NATO is not under investigation by the Office of the Prosecutor of the ICTY. There is no formal inquiry into the actions of NATO during the conflict in Kosovo"

Jamie Shea : As you know, without NATO countries there would be no International Court of Justice, nor would there be any International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia because NATO countries are in the forefront of those who have established these two tribunals
Zoran
My dear friend both the ICJ and the ICTY were established by the UNSC, of which 2 of the permanent members are Serbia supporters and are in no way connected to NATO. Either one could have vetoed the establishment of the ICTY if they felt it was not appropriate.

The us cannot allow Serbia's countersuit to go forward or else its campaign of ethnic cleansing of the Serbs throughout the territories of the "former" Yugoslavia will be formally exposed to the world. The us will force croatia to drop its lawsuit and pay off Tadic and the DS (again).

Those people opposed to Serbia's countersuit are the same people who support the selective justice being served by the NATO court in the Hague.

Since the same people sponsoring this court were involved in the genocide committed in Croatia against the Serbians, it is not surprising that genocide charges have not come forth.

We are the upholders, not the violators, of international law.
==
You see, with that attitude, they can get away with genocide. Here is more proof as stated in the same NATO briefing:
==
Jamie Shea : The charge by Yugoslavia was brought under the genocide convention. That does not apply to NATO countries.
==
Now where are these selective justice supporters today? I'm sure they will continue cheering NATO and denounce Serbia.
