What alliance? You are not equal. It's a master/slave arrangement.

Albanians are in NATO.
31 Albanians with highest offices at NYSE on Wall St and then George Tennet(Gjergj Koka) director of CIA from 1997-2004!. When will you achieve this?

This is great news for the people of Leposavić. They will be the first town outside of Bondsteel and KFOR Hill to have a McDonalds, Burger King, Puke in a Box and Pizza Hut. If they don't appear the Yanks won't stay long. So some opportunity for some enterprising young Serb businessmen or women.

Don Draper

You gotta be kiddin' me! By the time the Kosovo Protection Force was 6 months into Basic Training, Sejdiu was already asking Nato when Kosovo could start sending troops to Iraq or Afghanistan. Lack of enthusiasm is not a problem here.

I would really love for the KLA to go to either place. Just remember you're not shooting at old Granny's and kids swimming in rivers.

No way. Serbia/Russia alliance is big brother/little brother.

What do you have in common with Americans?

Steve JP

pre 14 godina

It is common knowledge that the USA and NATO are very prejudice against the Serbs and other non Albanians regarding Kosovo. Look at all the destroyed Serbian churches. Why cannot the USA provide at least a big loan for Serbs to repay, with low interest rates, over reasonable time, to rebuild their churches? And areas where mosques were built over church ruins, on church property, new churches can be built right on top of those mosques. The first floor would be a mosque. The above floor would be a church. Such an action would prove to the world that Kosovo is really a multi ethnic society.

(KOSOVARi, 4 January 2010 18:36)

So the US is setting up in northern Kosovo. I bet they also allow their troops to fraternize with the locals simply because the commanders do not have any fears of their forces being attacked. Unlike for the rest of Kosovo. The US is in the process of selling the Albanians out; I put a hold on those celebrations and see what they have in store for you guys..

Might want to ask the Germans about that!

Only reason the US left Saudi Arabia is because Osama asked so nicely on 9/11. The US tends to stay a long, long and very long time.

“and from 99% of the ethnic albanians, one chorus: thank god we are liberated from the 100 year reign of belgrade's terror. (roberto, 5 January 2010 05:02)”

Roberto, they were just talking about how good they had it under Tito, surely far better than their relatives in Albanian at the time.

I suggest you compare the regimes of Tito or Tadic to King Zog or Enver Hoxha.

I don’t think the Kosovar Albanians were missing much. They likely experience far more freedom and a higher standard of living under the 100 year reign of Belgrade’s terror.

I would live in an American-managed protectorate ANYDAY before going back to Serbia. Are you kidding me? Native Americans here get to run casinos when no one else can...they have all American rights and THEN SOME! Serbia has absolutely ZERO chance of ever setting foot in Kosova. I hope this new US Army Unit trains their heavy guns on Serbia and obliterates anyone who violates Kosova's border.

The funniest running theme here is about how the people of kosovo/a are "controlled" by their american masters, how it is just another protectorate, dependent on outside help, bla bla bla. this is always coming, inevitably, from the other side.

and from 99% of the ethnic albanians, one chorus: thank god we are liberated from the 100 year reign of belgrade's terror.

so all of these well-meaning (not) warnings just do not resonate, but then of course they are utterly disingenuous to begin with.

the point is yr former colony has been liberated at last, and the former YU is dead and gone, for better and for worse. belgrade no longer controls it all, thank god. learn to get along with your neighbors and all relevant ethnic groups, or deal with the unpleasant consequences.

“Anyone who trades liberty for security deserves neither liberty nor security”

For you see, it's not "U.S." occupation that gives you a sense of security, but the fact that Serbia is becoming a true democracy in every sense of the word..Slowly, but surely.

This my friend, and this alone is the only thing that can provide true long term security and freedom for Albanians in Kosovo.

Everything else is a mirage...

It's the State Department policy that's driven a wedge between the two peoples, and until you understand the concept of "Divide and Conquer", you will be viewed as no different than any other third world colony.

The words occupy and freedom can't belong in the same sentence.

might be the best news ever.

Now there is talks that NATO will be reduced from 15,000 to 5,500. YES!!

What alliance? You are not equal. It's a master/slave arrangement.

No way. Serbia/Russia alliance is big brother/little brother.

What do you have in common with Americans?

It is common knowledge that the USA and NATO are very prejudice against the Serbs and other non Albanians regarding Kosovo. Look at all the destroyed Serbian churches. Why cannot the USA provide at least a big loan for Serbs to repay, with low interest rates, over reasonable time, to rebuild their churches? And areas where mosques were built over church ruins, on church property, new churches can be built right on top of those mosques. The first floor would be a mosque. The above floor would be a church. Such an action would prove to the world that Kosovo is really a multi ethnic society.

Albanians are in NATO.
31 Albanians with highest offices at NYSE on Wall St and then George Tennet(Gjergj Koka) director of CIA from 1997-2004!. When will you achieve this?
