well gerti, you only visited school in eu, but that shouldn´t be an excuse.

80 million eu-citizens are poor.

calculate for three days, but it still won´t get 2 or 3% (a helping hand: it´s more) ....

and that´s the official numbers, the "good" ones.

one only can speculate about the real numbers, the eu-regimes of course won´t show ...

Raso,

Yeah maybe even in EU some may be demonstrate for "bread"....
The difference between EU and Serbia just lies in the fact that those people represent 2-3% of the EU population and...30-40% in Serbia...

yeah, right, of course it´s the people who will benefit and not a handfull of bandits like in the 27 eu-reservations before ...

another "promiss" of this government, honest and realistic as all the others before ...

the millions of people demonstrating in eu for bread and jobs, are they dumb and uninformed as the irish people or simply anti-europeans ????

Mircaea "structural funds" = slavery just like foreign loans

This "aid" comes with strings attached, that you have to implement if its against your interests or not.

No. It bew better if our politicians weren't incompetent and subservient to the interests of the reach. By enforcing past and current laws and have a more logical ax system we could collect more money then the EU would ever give.

Plus. For those funds we would complete with the poor countries of Eastern Europe and the rest of the Balkans. So it wouldn't help as like it did to Portugal, Ireland or Greece who were obtaining something like 4% of their GDP as aid for decades (we'd probably get something below .5% of our GDP).

By joining the EU, Serbia will have access to the EU's market which has approximately 500 million inhabitants.

Also, Serbian citizens and Serbian companies will benefit from the four freedoms which include:

The free movement of goods;
The free movement of capital;
The free movement of services;
The free movement of persons

Moreover, Serbia will have access to the Structural Funds and to the Cohesion Fund.

The Structural Funds would be very useful especially for the poorer regions of Serbia.

"A certain" commentator from a certain neighbouring country,about to comment this post, seems to still be dwelling in times when their beloved leader made choises & Decisions for them, without bother the inhabitants with the tiresome procedure of democracy...

That certain person of course welcomes the expanding dictatorship of €USSR and its newly, by the politburo in Brussels, elected leader with even less democrasy left for the people to decide.

Once in and our country teared apart we cant get out, But i think Serbs know enough by now(especially since the onslaught in 1999, the disintegration of our country by Brussels/Washington and eternal colonial wars in the middle east and saber-rattling towards Russia) to reject it. Fear not! They invaded us once because we didnt want to join them voluntarily. They wont do it twice since the future lies with our strong allies in the free world.
