I cannot see the Serb people selling their souls to join that evil outfit, NATO, no matter how much money that fella got in his 'brown envelope' from Brussels.

Once again thank you for reminding us of the close coming of terrible well-trained and high-professional russian firefighters to Nis...who, I'm allmost sure, will scare the americans who, according to reliable sources, are about to evacuate Camp Bondsteel...

It called testing the waters to see the reaction in Serbia. Šutanovac knows well that there is a groundswell of anti-NATO feeling in Serbia, but the current Government is financially encouraged by Brussels to try and sell the idea. It matters little what Sutanovac or the other members of Cabinet think or want it will not happen because the Russians will be in Nis and the current Tadic government will not be in power soon after that.

All I can say is if Serbia doesn't want to be bombed again by NATO, they should, therefore, join NATO as soon as possible. You never know if another nut like Milosevic comes to power again. At least this way NATO will have a firm hand around Serbia's throat to make sure it doesn't do anything stupid again.

I'd like to see a referendum on this issue: weather Serbia wants to join NATO, or it is just a wish of few people in power.

So would I but if Tadic remains in power it won't happen.
Tadic will be told when to apply to membership to NATO and that will be that.

Think very carefully who you elect next time.
Do you want a US stooge or someone who thinks about Serbia?

JC,

So you were surprised to see boxes of ammunition of Serbian origine in a US store most likely for hunters?

I suppose the importer got a very good price. Maybe it was even cheaper than the Chinese one. I am all for it as long as the price is OK.
Whenever I see canned food of Eastern European origine (fuit, vegetables, etc) I always buy it.

Once again, I will say this is a fascinating debate that I will be following closely. I am surprised that this discussion is taking place relatively soon after the illegal 1999 NATO war, but then again politics is funny like that -- there is always more going on behind the curtains than we know.

I was equally surprised (and impressed) to see boxes of ammunition at a store here in the US that said "Made in Serbia".
