Gods, there are many because every religion speaks of their 'own' true god, have in my opinion, over the course of history, done more harm than good.
Gods have always served tirants, who look for excuses to surpress their people, well. But only until the people have had enough. The true power does not lie with god but with the people. The Iranians who pursue freedom of choice of speech (and religion) should not be afraid. They will not be punished, instead they will have the support and admiration of millions around the world, for trying to reform Iran into a tolerant society. I wish the people of Iran strenght and the power to trust and believe in themselves. Eventually, with maybe a little help of their god, they will prevail.

"One of the defining features of dictatorships is that they are quick to blame anyone else."

That goes more for the american (non-existent) scapegoat of "Al-quaeda" and som many equally non-existent "terrorists".

Dont fool yourself, the anglo-american NWO version of "democrasy" is in fact dictatorship.

How can they be enemies of "God"?

There is no such thing as a "God", therefore they cannot be enemies of "God" as this "God" does not exist.

That solves that. Moving on...

One of the defining features of dictatorships is that they are quick to blame anyone else. (E.g., Milosevic blamed the US for anything and everything at every opportunity).

The bluster of dictators actually reveals their vulnerability, desperation and weaknesses.

I personally will add that any mention of god in these matters should also be challenged. Belief is a matter of personal prejudice not a a statement of fact.

Those who seek impose religion as a way of trying to rule are abusing the very god who they claim is all powerful. In the absence of a god (my view), their views are of little value and are more of a silly nuisance.
