"Russia should develop offensive system"

Well, well, if you’re an Albanian living in or supporting the so called independent Kosovo then this is not good news for you guys. The message here is “we do have offensive systems and should deploy them”. The question is where???? I know Nis.
Is this one of many conditions that the US has agreed in exchange for Russian support in Afghanistan???? Remember how they sold the abandonment of the missile shield??? It’s not looking good boys.

NOTHING.
They can't do a damn thing.

How many times will you people repeat that same tired argument about 1999??? That was a decade ago when Russia was still reeling from the collapse of the USSR. They are far, far stronger now. You keep kidding yourself though, if it makes you feel better.

It is amazing how some people present this news in a distorted way. As per B92 the Russian PM said "Russia SHOULD develop offensive weapons". One poster however immediately distorts it by saying "we have offensive systems".
But this is not the point here. The US gave up on the missil shield in September. So it is completaly out of line to state that something has to be developed "in order to counter America's missil shield". What? Is he halucinating? He sees something what is not there?
No the explanation is very simple. Lately for a long time there was no news about Russia. The Russia PM simply wanted to signal that listen world we are still there. We are now only a strong regional power but we are still there. There are many big regional powers like Germany, France, UK, etc. They don't put out similar statements to tell that "guys we still count". Apparently they don't have a Russian-type complex.

In any imaginary future conflict between the US and Russia I would hate to see you in the US army, even in the reserve. You would be a security risk for us.

Look,I understand your frustrations Joe,you took part in the 1956 Hungarian uprising (which was neofascist in nature)as a youth and you guys got to feel the Russian boot.

As for Russia,it is laughable to compare the biggest landpower in the world with the biggest natural resources,the strongest military in the world and free geopolitical access to Europe,the Middle East and East Asia with the likes of UK,Germany etc.

As for your beloved US,it is gradually loosing the status of a superpower(Obama begging the Chinese for money,being played in Copenhagen at the climate conference,loosing softpower everywhere in the world,reserve currency status will be taken over gradually by the yuan).

I know this is hard for you ,too,the Russians and the Brits lost their empires and know the pain .
China is the next superpower and Russia and China are allies...
