I personally support Montenegro being ready to reexamine its decision to recognize Kosovo if the International Court of Justice states that the independence proclamation was illegal,” Marović said

That is NOT ACCURATE again. Read the statement from the Montenegrin government.

Just a quick NOTE that the Polish president doesn't agree with Kosova's independence but the government makes decisions in certain countries....THAT IS ACCURATE! I hope you get where I am coming from. Happy New Year!

Mirub,

Like Svojgazda I am a Montenegrin. What the current Montenegrin government is doing is destroying our heritage, culture and beliefs.

Njegos is indisputably one of the greatest Montenegrins in history and my family proudly served under Prince Danilo. No other single person did as much to forge Serbian culture and identity as we know it today. We Montenegrins did much to preserve our shared culture during the darkest hours for our people.

Do not confuse disagreement with governmental policy (I didn’t like Milosevic either) with disliking one’s brothers. We Montenegrin’s feel a deep connection to the Serbian people, so deep in fact that the vast majority of us living in Montenegro itself self identify as speaking Serbian (NOT Montenegrin) and go to the Serbian Church.

Winston I was merely bringing up a fact. I don't expect Serb to be on any side. Is just that the same subject (people of Montenegro in this case) can be demonized one day and raised to sainthood another. It has been many similar instances that Serb camp does not spare this treatment of anyone with an opinion or stance. It happens a lot on the other 9Albanian)side too.

So what, Mirub? Do you expect the Serbian people to take the side of the Albanians? I don't understand your comment. Anyway, Serbs and Montenegrens are the same people, they just add that extra "J" to their words. The government of Montenegro is like all the other little lemmings that obey the US/EU for promised benefits, and in Milo's case, no prosecution.

I love to see Serb camp posts after any statement by Montenegrin Gov't. If statement is pro-kosovo you see threats and insults toward great people of Montenegro. If the statement happens to be such as the one a week ago related to Montenegro's awaiting for ICJ decision on Kosovo and its diplomatic relations with Kosovo, the Serb camp called them heroes and brethren. One poster even "felt" Njegos spirit revived upon the Slavic breath onto Montenegro people.

Mr. Deputy PM, you speak for your government, not the people of Montenegro. If the people had their way, recognition of an independent A_Kosovo would be revoked in 2 minutes. I am Montenegren, and a Serb. The dialect may differ, but we are one - Serbian.

Politicians like thieves will say and do anything for their own gain. And every time we turn around montenegrin politicians are waiting with the knife to stab Serbia in a back.Their actions spoke with the bang, and we can only hope Serbian people would not forget too soon..

some of you montenegrins are just funny you really believe your not Serbian that makes me laugh but anyway the 300,000 Serbs in montenegro want full autonomy in their areas and then join serbia because your government is brain washing the rest and watch your government will give albanians land that they are a majority and that will be it .
