Fiat to pay EUR 100mn "by end of year"

President Boris Tadić says Italian carmaker Fiat will by the end of this year make the EUR 100mn payment in the Zastava deal.

"The first payment of that sum was to be made in March 2009, but was postponed "due to the economic crisis". "

- that sum was for 200 million euro's to be paid by March. When this went and passed it was said money was just delayed for summer now only half is apparently forth coming. The whole of Zastava has been sold off with little in return so far with over a year passing since DS-G17+ govt making out a vote for them was essential for this so called 700 million euro investment. Dinkic is very quiet on this and yet was very vocal on the NIS deal which has been a far more certain sale in terms of the financial investment thus far.
