Although B92 didn't published my comment of yesterday I am insisting today again with a comment about the last comment in the list. It seems someone from Tirana stupid coffee gossips has started to read something more (B92 website)than what she hears in this gossip sessions. There are many things to claim about Berisha but those listed by "lili" are totally ridiculous.

a man who is married with slobodenka rama, a man who has traded oil with milosevic and welcomed arkan in albania when kosovo was burning can not lobby for kosovo but can only do his job as a UDB fellow(the mother of slobodenka was the udb resident in albania)and can only desserve kosovo .
A man who is a friend of damir Fazlic, nephew of Stanicic can not lobby for kosovo but only deserve kosovo! a man who met serbian agent in Paris can not lobby for kosovo but only deserve kosovo!

It is not necessary for President Berisha of Albania to lobby for recognitions for Kosova. Little Vuk is doing a great job of getting recognitions for Kosova. Even many of his "brother" Slav nations have recognized Kosova's independence, thanks to Vuk Jeremic!

Serbia alone can thrash “Albania, Macedonia, Bosnia, Slovenia,Croatia and Turkey” with one hand tied behind its back. Your loved US is not the same one of the 1990s – it’s a former shadow of its self, can you imagine that it sent NATO Gen/Sec to Moscow to seek help for Afghanistan. The rest are useless without the US, so it all speaks for itself.

First off, this comment is lacking any factual basis or common sense. Second, Bosnia is nearly 50% Serb so they will never do anything to turn against their fellow brethren in Serbia. Macedonia is still mostly Slav, and they too share a common bond with Serbs, so you have no argument here. The US has already fulfilled its interests in Kosovo so now its attention has turned elsewhere so forget their support in the future.

But let me remind you a very simple thing. More Serbia is trying to prevent Kosova independence more and more she is allenieting "its own people living in Kosova/o" and the "its own territory where this people live in".

Dear Albanians,
I'm affraid you have no Idea what lobbying means nor how it goes. It is in the self-conception of Lobbyism that you don't talk about it and you would never call it Lobbying unless you want lay open somebodys illegitime purposes. The term lobbying has a sence close to bribery. Diplomats react very sensitive on that. Albanians not only will have no success with these kind of activities, they are doing big damage by the way they're acting.

UPDATE to my previous comment:
Another ethnic Hungarian/Romanian citizen, member of the Hungarian minority party, was officially nominated for the Bucharest Government, for the Ministry of Health! They are now 4 (3 ministers + the deputy PM) out of 17 members of the cabinet... The confirmation vote in the Parliament will take place on Tuesday.

Tom,

If you really believe there are any Serbs living in Albania, do you have a list of names. There are only Albanian speakers in North Albania.

Maybe, 40,000 Greeks at most in Southern Albania which is 1.3% compared to 1,000,000 Albanians in Greece or 10%.

For sure, the Albanian PM did not met with the Romanian president, Basescu, he was also in Copenhagen... Sad, because Basescu could explain him, once for all, that he and Kosovo leaders are on the wrong path when talking about Romania and its motives for not recognizing Kosovo independence - as Mr. Sejdiu, Kosovo president, did recently, saying that "Romania has domestic reasons for rejecting Kosovo independence" - probably pointing to the so-called "Transilvanian question" (?!), which seems to be the only thing Albanians on this forum know (in fact, they just approximate) about Romania's ethnic landscape.
It is also a pity that several Kosovo officials were denied a meeting with our president, this year, (actually, they were not able to meet a single top official in Bucharest, which is stupid, I mean our people should have been more open, talking would hurt nobody... but maybe they were busy with the electoral campaign). However, Basescu is in the best position to explain that Kosovo issue was not even discussed in the electoral debates, since the Romanian political class agrees on the non-recognition of Kosovo self-proclaimed independence. This being said, Albanian friends please, wait a little before replying "of course, Romania is afraid of encouraging Hungarian separatism in Transylvania, in February 2008 the Hungarian minority party abstained from voting in Romanian Parliament against the recognition, bla, bla."
In fact, the new Romanian government (announced couple hours ago) includes 3 members from the Hungarian minority party, one being Deputy-Prime Minister, the others two being the Minister for Environment and the Minister for Culture (yes, Culture, that ministry which deals with schools, textbooks, theaters, monuments and so on)... So much for the "domestic /minorities connected/ problems" precluding Romania's recognition of Kosovo, don't you think? And I forgot to mention: the new govt. is supported by a majority in the Parliament composed from the Liberal-Democrats (the former party of Basescu), the Hungarian minority party (5%), the Group of MPs representing Minorities Other than Hungarians (5%) and a group of "independents", ("defectors" from the Liberals and Social-Democrats).
So, we will have, again, a government with the support of the Hungarians in Romania, their party being, in the last decade, almost half time in power in Bucharest. And nobody goes crazy about it. Btw, Serb friends, I wish your leaders had same approach 20 years ago, maybe things would have been different now... just an opinion, only Gd knows the entire truth...

So, this is the political make-up of Romania, a country which is currently described on this forum as being primitive, non-democratic, poor&undeveloped, not worthy of EU&NATO membership, and SOOOO afraid of the danger posed by its minorities (99% loyal citizens to a state member in NATO and EU...) that is refusing to recognize Kosovo.... As if Kosovo could be seen by Romanian politicians as being anything more than a (very lucky!) separatist province 30 times smaller than Romania, with no leverage in foreign affairs and little economical importance, full of ex-guerrillas with plenty of guns&ammo and supported by US and West-Europeans in order to 1) show Muslims all over the world that big Christian powers have no prejudice against them, since they build a new Muslim nation in Europe, and 2) make forget the shame of failing to prevent Bosnia-Herzegovina catastrophe in nineties... (I know, it is a very prejudiced perspective, but who's to blame? Romanians? don't think so!)
Last but not least, something Albanians may consider "good news" (although it's not): Bogdan Aurescu, the diplomat who presented Romania's position on Kosovo issue in Hague, didn't make the list as Foreign Affairs Minister. He was replaced with our Ambassador in Paris, Theodor Baconski. It is not good news because this guy is older, and even more strict in promoting the "no recognition" approach. On the other hand, he enjoys to be in the media, so maybe he will grant an audience to Kosovo leaders, for the sake of publicity...

So, we have leaders from all over the world trying to find a solution to fight climate change and save the planet and we have Mr Berisha who comes and says "Hey guys, why don't you recognise Kosovo!?"
I must say that is some very professional diplomacy.

What's this

Tom,

If you really believe there are any Serbs living in Albania, do you have a list of names. There are only Albanian speakers in North Albania.

Maybe, 40,000 Greeks at most in Southern Albania which is 1.3% compared to 1,000,000 Albanians in Greece or 10%.

It is not necessary for President Berisha of Albania to lobby for recognitions for Kosova. Little Vuk is doing a great job of getting recognitions for Kosova. Even many of his "brother" Slav nations have recognized Kosova's independence, thanks to Vuk Jeremic!

Are you actually saying that UN would not dare do this or that if you don't approve?

a man who is married with slobodenka rama, a man who has traded oil with milosevic and welcomed arkan in albania when kosovo was burning can not lobby for kosovo but can only do his job as a UDB fellow(the mother of slobodenka was the udb resident in albania)and can only desserve kosovo .
A man who is a friend of damir Fazlic, nephew of Stanicic can not lobby for kosovo but only deserve kosovo! a man who met serbian agent in Paris can not lobby for kosovo but only deserve kosovo!
