It is strange that you live in Moldova and don't know anything about the economic situation of the country.
(Mircea, 19 December 2009 02:17)

It is also strange that an Albanian like yourself pretends to be Romanian.

PSS,
the reason Europe doesn't want Kosovo's Albanians is because the EU members are tired of spending so much money fighting crime. They would like to see their daughters grow up to be educated and productive citizens instead of prostitutes. They want their young men to have good jobs and hobbies instead of taking drugs. Allowing more Albanians into these countries would be very counterproductive indeed.

Schengen is not only the right travel without Visa. It is the idea, living together as friends and neighbours, without ethinical borders.

Serbia earns this for the progress toward a civilized state; but its not the end of the road.

This should encourage the Kosovoarians as well. Dialog with ALL neighbours, ALL inhabitants (also the North Kosovo), fight against Mafia and corruption, prosecute war criminals (-heros)and so on.

Why all the whinining? Just because Serbian citizen can travel and Kosovo albanins cannot is a crime? Get over it folks eventually Serbia will join the EU and NATO. The dutch can only be paid off so long until it blows up in the faces. The only country blocking serbia is the Dutch, how many have not recognized Kosovo? Oh well maybe one of these day Pristina will wake up and smell the coffee. Things are not better people are still trying to leave but can't. The comment about not being able to settle and find work well isn't that the motive of the Kosovo folks to get a job. Give me a break.

Cmon Kosova ALbanians- Do you really think Europe gives a hoot about you or Kosovo? Kosovo is not included in this arrangement because they don't want 1 million Albanians moving through Europe at any given time. Despite what you may think Europe is quite happy to keep Kosovo as a black hole. They will tighten the screws on ALbania so much for their EU requirements that Tirana will have to pull the plug. The sooner the K-ALbs realize that Europe really doesn't care about you (and the US even less) the better. The sooner realized the sooner negotians can begin on autonomy or partition.

Frans,

Moldova is the poorest country in Europe.

All the economic indicators show that Romania is ahead of Moldova.

It is strange that you live in Moldova and don't know anything about the economic situation of the country.

This is a very good news, not only for Serbia but for the entire region.Albania will follow probably in late spring 2010.Very soon all the southeastern european countries will be where they belong. It is sad however, to see that the old mentality still exist among young souls. You know to whom I am reffering to; these are people who instead of expressing the joy that Serbia is leaving the past behind, rejoice because albanians will have to wait a couple of mothns more to achieve the same thing.I don't get it.

Serbs have been excluded for how long again? 20 years! Kosova will get it in a year, maybe two. No biggie. Just be 'constructive' with EULEX

Don't worry for the Kosovo people, Europe is acting in their best interest.
Everyone knows it is more important for Serbia to accept these terms distinguiishing Kosovo from Serbia.
There was no way for Europe to include Kosovo at this time because it would have been interpreted by Serbians as an admission that they are one.
This is as much a victory for Kosovo as it is for Serbia.

CONGRATULATIONS SERBIA!! It was time and i hope that many people will visit all the countries they can now easily go to after all these years!
Mircea, you get boring. I live and work for many years in Moldova now and also visited Rumania many times. Clear that Rumania is not even close to the level of Moldova, let alone the rest of Europe. So don't worry, not many Serbs will visit your destroyed and corrupt country. At least i hope so!
GRATULATIONS SERBIA!!!
