UK PM pushes for gay rights in EU

Gordon Brown is pushing for British civil partnerships to be recognised across the EU - including Eastern Europe, he has told Attitude magazine.

To say the bitter truth, I could never think any other nation to push for gay rights the EU or anybody else...... the english are just the ones that always come fisrt in my mind!

Means nothing. This entire New Labour govt says whatever they think various groups in the UK want to hear.

If he was being interviewed by "Conservative Family Today Magazine" then he would say something entirely different about preserving the traditional family etc. etc.... whatever his spinmeisters tell him to say.

Shame he doesn't spend more time communicating with the families of all the dead soldiers from the fallout of Bliar's wars.

Never trust the words of politicians, especially the current English bunch. Take heed the 'independence' camp.
