Montenegro might respect the ICJ decision but you know who will not? The country who called for an opinion from the ICJ, you guessed it, Serbia will only respect it if it is in its favor. If it is in Serbias favor it will be viewed by Belgrade as a neutral, just and moral opinion; if it is in Serbias opposition it will be viewed by Serbia as unjust, corrupt, immoral, unethical.. anything else I'm leaving out? I can see it playing out.. it is so predictable!

Why no one wants to live with Serbia even little brother Montenegro left. Can you tell me why?

How do you expect Kosovo to want this when even Montenegro wanted out.
(Bilbao, 17 December 2009 11:11)

Politics, money and stay out of jail, that's why.

Milo and his gang are doing what is best for them. One day Milo will be gone and things will take a turn for the better.

"Will they stop calling Milo a ciggarette smuggler?"
(Zoti, 16 December 2009 22:15)

No, Milos will remain that and more till the day he dies.
It doesn't matter what Montenegro does from now on, Milo will continue to be viewed with contempty by all the Serbs, including Montenegrin Serbs.

Montenegro will in fact be the first country to reverse its recognition of Kosovo, they have lost more than they have gained in recognizing Kosovo last year.
(Canadien, 16 December 2009 14:22)

As a Montengrin-Serb I sincerely hope this is the case. If Milo is out of office before the ICJ verdict arrives then it will rescind recognition even sooner. Whenever people ask me where I'm from, I say I'm Montenegrin, but I am first and foremost Serb.

Zoti

Does this mean that the Serb posters here will embrace Montenegro back into the camp of the "internnational law dafenders" with likes of China and Russia?

Will they stop calling Milo a ciggarette smuggler?

Is Montenegro with its 680K people, going to chose Serbia or EU?
The answer has been made clear 5 years ago when MN people decided to part away from Serbia.

I thought Montenegro would be first but now I think it's going to be Nauru.
(Zoran, 16 December 2009 16:18)

If Miskovic would be as good as Pacolli, he would just send them a container of free opanaks and case is closed before any decision ICJ would make. At least, they will have some extra shoes to throw at their politicians.

But enough of jokes: I think, here all (Russians, Serbs, Albanians) have to be more serious than these stupid "Nauru versus Malawi" tribal wars. Who really cares what a place inhabited by tribes barely out of stone age does. Childish.

- Big, white massa come yesterday. Massa telling all: "say Kosova, me giving you a transistor radio!" We saying "Kosova", we got new radio!!!

- Eh, you being silly. Today even richer Massa come and tell all: "say Ossetia, me giving you plastic bags and ten bottles of fire water. We saying "Ossetia", now we all have a transistor radio, plastic shopping bags and we are in very happy mood after drinking that fire water. These big white Massa are crazy: they give us so many goodies for nothing!"

Actions speak louder than words. Unfortunately in Montenegro's case, they have brought nothing but shame to themselves, while their pupeteers in the west have a good laugh - at a very cheap expense.

...the court has pointed earlier that it will not give a yes or no answer to the question o findependent Kosova.
(kosovar, 16 December 2009 16:28)
--
As far as I understood, the president of the ICJ stated it would not be a simple yes or no, meaning it will be a yes or no explained over 30 pages, so basically a complicated yes or no.

Now since this case was engineered by Serbia and after reading the transcripts I can only assume this case will go in Serbia's favour.

What that means is another story. I believe Slovenia have already anticipated the result and has stated the court cannot demand anyone to withdraw their recognition but some countries probably will.

Now who will be first? Montenegro? Czech Republic? Nauru?

What the statesman is saying is that Montenegro will respect the decision if it is a clear 'yes' or 'no'. In other words a withdrawal or recognition will not happen as the court has pointed earlier that it will not give a yes or no answer to the question o findependent Kosova. And also image what would happen to Montegeros goal of EU integration if withdraws its recognition? then its another decade or two in isolation with Serbia.

then Montenegro will respect the 45% Serbs in Montenegro even though there is allot more because Montenegrin are Serbs but anyway then the Serbs will want full autonomy in their part of Montenegro since where the 45%+ serbs are they are almost 100% of the parts they are in or a 100% in parts.

I hope you're right, Canadian, but I have my doubts with this completely Subservient government, lead by cigarette smugglers and bandits.
If they get voted out of office, then this will happen. One thing is for sure, Milo and his gang have brought nothing but huge shame to Montenegro.
