"Now, remind me, has the Vatican recognised Kosovo?"

Not yet but almost all the Catholic West has. Next question! Even Orthodox Bulgaria, FYROM, and Crna Gora have.

Serbia got the visa deal in return for Kosova /EULEX, and it was Joe Biden that made it possible. Notice Tadic's "We need new flexibility in Kosovo" speech? Albania is getting the visas in June, 6 months after.

Mike, USA rules EU, like it or not. A "country" like Cyprus can paralyze EU with vetos, USA speaks with one voice.

"Must be pro-Western and pro-US to enter EU. No ifs or butts. Don't do it and you will linger there for ages...and ages." (aRTa)

-- And your point is....? Even if that were true (a country not part of the EU determining whether another country can enter the EU), the United States has given strong support for Serbia's EU membership despite its disagreements over Kosovo.

So I fail to see what your trying to convey here. Thanks for thinking my country has more power than we actually have.

I don't really understand aRTa, Serbia just went up against most EU members and the US at the ICJ, we are allowing Russians to build a base, we just had a visit from the Russian president and we are accepting infrastructure projects from both Russia and China but for some strange reason we are also being accelerated into the EU. I wonder why?

In the mean time, your US and EU loving Albanians, who are quite loyal and reject everything Russian have been excluded from visa free travel, your EU plans will soon hit a brick wall and KiM is left in the dark. But admittedly, you do have the great privilege of sending your soldiers into Afghanistan! You know, to fight against those people who assisted you in 1999.

Now I really hope Serbia's EU membership is blocked but somehow I feel the undercurrents working against my wishes. At least the Lisbon treaty now describes EU membership as voluntary and allows members to exit - so not all is lost.

Now, remind me, has the Vatican recognised Kosovo?

Funniest this: Today Montengro's PM met with the Pope. Sali Berisha met him a week ago and gave him a bust of Gjergj Kastrioti (one of three Atleta di Kristi). Tadic two weeks ago. All hope to join EU and want to show their "Western credentials"

Notice a pattern? US and the Pope. Must be pro-Western and pro-US to enter EU. No ifs or butts. Don't do it and you will linger there for ages...and ages.

Berat,
Haha...only with Monica eh?? How come an Arkansas state trooper, who was supposed to be just his bodyguard, claims that he was a limo service for Clinton's bimbos, and that Clinton was with well over 100 women?

This is the kind of person he is, so it doesn't surprise me that he commits blatant war crimes like bombing Serbia for 78 days.

"Isn't putting aside the differences, an acceptance?" (pss)

-- I would say so. An acceptance that the US can't push its own agenda in the Balkans by itself and that some form of compromise will have to ensue in order to move forward. It's a bitter pill for my country to take sometimes but dammit, our strength rests on our pragmatism and willingness to rethink strategies that don't work (ok, I got a little too idealistic on the last one, but a man can hope, no?)

This is going to be like a stern lecture by Mother Superior to one of her pupils!!

It will go something like this...how dare you embarrass us at the ICJ...if you want in the EU you will have to recognize the Heroin Republic of Kosova...if you don't join NATO, we will surround you until you crack like Humpty Dumpty...if RS tries to secede, we will bomb you again...and make sure that you marginalize Russia's influence in the region...NOW, get outta my office before I give it to you again!!! She is a Cuntinuous Source of Inspiration to me!!!

Vuk, please do the Serb nation a favour and ask this anti-Serb hate monger who pushed her cheating husband to bomb Serbia to teh stone age...ask her how she could stay with someone who admittedly cheated on her with over 100 women. Ask her is she has any self respect. Ask her if she feels Tiger Woods is a better man than her husband, since his count is only up to 15.
And please tell her what every Serb in the world thinks about her. I will not put it in writing, because B92 will censor this :).
Cheers!!

This is a waste of time and Serb taxpayers shouldn't be funding all these pointless travels. U.S. is clearly not a friend to Serbia - it promotes the killing of Serbs, stealing of their homes and property, demonization of them and many horrible things.

Serbs need to throw out these leaders who've also sold off Serbia's industry and run its economy into the ground.

Hillary may AGAIN decline to meet Jeremic, sending (this time) her driver for the appointment.

I can understand that. Hill and Bill are proven liars! Remember the snipers in Sarajevo? The cheating and lying husband? The long list of lies against Serbia?

How can she look Jeremic in the eye? I expect the driver to at least have some integrity.

They avoid the word "Albanian" like the plague, even in statistics. Look also how they describe Kosovo and search the word Albanian.

I don't think Jeremic expects much; this is a side trip. Isn't he going to attend a Security Council meeting? He should set a condition for the visit - either they make a press appearance or further communication is done through diplomatic notes.
