I can name 190 countries that are closer to going bancrupt.

I can see that you don’t really understand what that means so I won’t debate the point any further. However, my curiosity is peaked so please name all of those countries that are closer to bankruptcy than the US.

Vojvodina will not separate. It is an integral and inseparable region with clear Serb majority - perhaps 75%, and even 24.5% of the minorities are loyal Serbian citizens. There are a few individuals who have different agendas, but there % doesn't even constitute a fragment of a percentage of the 2.5 + million people living in northern Serbia's Vojvodina. What you do have is probably the most diverse and multicultural society in all of Europe there - Serbs, Hungarians, Slovaks, Rusyns, Romanians, Roma, Montenegrins, Croats etc. Then you have so many countless intermixed marriages, so even a higher percentage has partial Serbian heritage as well ie. half Serb/Hungarian, Serb/Slovak, Hungarian/Slovak/Serb, Rusyn/Serb, Romanian/Serb etc. Within this region is many wanting the preservation of some of their linguistic, cultural and religious characters, that they feel strong about, within the confines of their mother country Serbia. The statute addresses many of these attributes, though it also cleaves an economic route too, as too much money was going to Belgrade and not dispersed to other regions. When projects, hospitals, medical expenses, infrastructure (roads, telecommunications, water, electricity etc) funds would be tied up in the central coffers too long - with Belgrade and some politicians used incorrectly, and in many instances in corrupt ways. Then you'd have areas like Nis, Vranje, Smederevo, Novi Sad etc. waiting for funds for something and - money is not there...but you'd see some politicians on nice vacations, sending their kids to foreign schools in Europe/North America etc. and etc. Personally the statute addresses some good things for the region, but having the regional offices bit in Brussels (like Germany's Bayern state etc.) and mentioning Novi Sad as provincial capital is not necessary and doesn't serve a purpose. Many might agree with some of my diatribes and some might not, but I'm just one voice; who also has Serbian, Slovak and Hungarian heritage; of the Serbian orthodox faith; who is multi-lingual; proud of many multicultural attributes; who will always consider Serbia with Vojvodina and Kosovo-Metohija in his heart until the end of time.

For once I will state that I do not understand this.

I go fishing on the Tamish, I eat Riblja Čorba in the local restaurants. I meet a few resentful Hungarians who think that the borders should change (but do not usually say so), but generally have no doubt that any 'autonomy' for Vojvodina is within the boundaries of Serbia proper, and have no doubt that thought of sussession is not within the bounds of reality.

Drink the beer, drink the spirits, eat the food, catch the fish, have fun; but do not get silly about what may be.

Unfortunately a few politicians build their careers on whatever prejudice gives them their meat. It's time to stop them I think.

The question is will Vojvodina break away from Serbia faster than the US will enter the bankruptcy? My sources tell me that there are very serious discussions going at the moment to develop a strategy to deal with the US defaulting on its payments. This is not propaganda it’s real.

My money is on the US going broke! Tell me with all the billions spent so far what have they achieved in the Balkans? Very little so far and now they think the Vovjovinda will somehow break away – well it won’t because when push comes to shove all of the EU/US’s lackeys don’t have enough votes. These so called politicians are nothing but windbags mouthing off what the democracies what to hear.

The only way that Vojvodina will remain in Serbia is as part of Europe. Guarantees that Tadic got are written on a piece of ice on a sunny day.

Serbs are making a big deal out of nothing. Who believes Serbs in Vojvodina would eventually vote for independece and be left out of Belgrade control? It ain't happening. Economic independence is what the statute is about.

This is such a "sramota" for the people in Vojvodina. European "big money" has hijacked your politicians to lead you down this destructive and isolated path. Let the 75% population of Serbs in Vojvodina decide if they want complete autonomy from the rest of Serbia. This is such a deliberate effort to further break up Serbia, masquerading as future growth and development of Vojvodina- what garbage and lies. Again Serbia- wake up to the fact that your enemies, on all sides, are trying to minimize you, marginalize you, and subjugate you to others. This generation of Serbs must not lose Srbija for future generations.

Finaly it's done something good for us.
