It appears to me that Mr. Mesic is trying to provoke Serbia into making negative reaction- ary move in order to impede Serbia's EU chances. If they get in first, they will block Serbia's integration

A vassal state is told what to do. It does not think for itself. How long do you think you would have your democratically elected Government in Slovenia if they did not do as they were told????

Both Slovenia and Croatia are Kosovo's allies.
In fact Slovenia participated at ICJ in April and June written statements which are harsher than Croatia's against Serbia.

According to an article by Euractiv from Dec. 8th: Croatia to help other ex-Yugoslav states' EU bids
http://www.euractiv.com/en/enlargement/croatia-help-ex-yugoslav-states-eu-bids/article-188084
"Zeljko Kupresak, the Croatian ambassador to Serbia, said [...] that Croatia [...] was willing to help all countries in the region with their own accession bids [...
...] "Croatia has said it will make available its translation of the 'acquis communautaire' not just to Serbia but to all countries as soon as they begin accession negotiations with the EU," [...
...] "Here I mean countries with similar languages, such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro."
******
That's funny, I'm sure that I've read, oh so many times, that 'Croatian' is a completely different language from 'Serbian' et al. Funnily enough, if I say something (traditional) to a croatian about their mother in 'Serbian', they seem to get upset...

I enjoyed that slovenian world cup commerical making fun of croatia.

Who really cares what Croatia thinks? I certainly don't. I won't vacation there, I won't buy products from there, I won't hang out with Croat diaspora and I frankly don't care what that little insignificant new German colony says or does.
We Serbs have more important things to worry about than what lapdog neighbours are saying about us.
pre 14 godina
Croatians all they do is talk and shoot hot air then run when faced and next mesic should talk about is bringing all Serbs back to the Serbian lands and territory called krajina, because before the war there was well over 750,000 and now about 300,000 so lets talk about this and get full autonomy for krajina then independence because that land was always Serbian land and had nothing to do with croatia, its facts on paper and history so lets get this on the table and the return of all Serbs to their home land.
pre 14 godina
Nobody gains of such poisoned statesments and nobody on the Balkans can be at rest untul Serbian fronts are not enclosed. Yet there are more stupid leaders which use their fists instead of words. For instance during SIC summits President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has already twice beated the Prezident of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov. This is the way he believes he can return historical Tajic lands of Samarkand and Bukhara. I guess this is the main reason Karimov escapes now SIC summits.

The Croation leadership thought that when the West united against Serbia and let loose with all of their best and shiniest"toys" for their boys that it was going to be once and for all, goodby Serbia and hello Croatia. Now that reality is setting in that it's red carpets again for Serbia and back seats and Western dunce hats for Croatia, the Croats are naturally expected to be unhappy and thus disruptive.
The "mother of all jolts"will happen when the West says to the Croats:You must return all....,and you have to give......,and that's final.
The name of this Operation is going to be called: "The West Giveth and the West taketh away and gave it back to the Serbs."

PRN,
now after reading this article, please tell me how you came to your post.
What specific incident has Serbia done to interfere with Bosnia?
The fact is, Croatia should mind it's own business and stop worrying about Serbia.
Serbs and Croations will never get along, so lets get onto to bigger and better issues.
For instance, Albania should stop interfering in Serbia's province of Kosovo.
pre 14 godina
Croatia has an inferiority complex. They are an (in)dependent country and hide behind that and NATO to lash out at Serbia. However, that's all Croatia can do.
When they can't beat us at sports they will try hiting us with statements as if we cared what this NATO puppet thinks. Serbia never listened to Croatia in the past and won't do so in the future.
pre 14 godina
Tadic must show that with deeds, not with words that he support the peace treaty of Dayton. His lip service can be trashed.
pre 14 godina
Mr. Tadic,
Truth often hurts.
Croatia said nothing BUT the truth. I think you, Mr Tadic and Jeremic have regreted it that you called for an ICJ opinion now....but it is late.
The overwhelming nations were on the Kosovo side.
The paradox of all this is that Serbia once again is showing its hypocritical face that if ICJ rules in favour of Kosovo, Serbia is not going to recognise it.
Thus for Serbia ONLY one verdict is acceptable that is in its favour ... OR that is the line with Serbian international law practise.
SHAME!
