Zoran, the Albanian posters here merely say that Serbia will never ever have control over Kosovo and that the people there will make sure of that. It is the Serbian diaspora which on many occassions speaks of a "returning and bring war" to Kosovo from their cushy chairs in the "evil" West.

Kosovo's future is bright, because it is has been in an unforgivable hell.

What is Jeremic trying to achieve by stopping the unstoppable?
Nothing can undo Kosova's independence from Serbia. He is just wasting his time and others valuable time.

'Gjon, the duty of the ICJ is to uphold international law, not to placate 2 million ethnic Albanians who threaten to unleash anarchy across the globe by setting a precedence that would open Pandora's Box with a giant crowbar.

Where do you guys get these stories? You can keep your mercedes http://www.thehubsa.co.za/uploads2/temp/20090602_092847_Mercedes.jpg and stay in prison camp Kosova. That is your choice.

The problem is, you are not even there. You guys are in the EU and US advising that Kosovo Albanians would rather die than to negotiate peace and freedom with Serbia. You say that while sitting at home and watching TV while those suffering in the province have no future.

Independence is blocked my friend, your mercedes is due for the scrap heap and you need to look towards the furture, not some made up past.

Jeremic is there to inform Mr. Moon that he will not be appointed to another term as Secretary-General. Sorry Ki-Ban. It is fascinating how the alb group selfishly indulges in their personal problems and remains blind to the bigger picture. An ICJ ruling endorsing the UDI negates any and all UN authority in the world. Like the UN would give up all of its power for the albs. I expect the ruling will affirm the rights of k-albs to negotiate with the Serbs for some part of Kosovo. When in doubt, go for the middle ground. Negotiated partition with Serb agreement fulfills territorial integrity and self-determination at the same time. The court will cite Bosnia as the precedent, issue this ruling, bang the gavel, and rush out of the chambers before anyone notices. The new york times will bury the story next to their sports section (which nobody reads) and never mention Kosovo again. The eu will trade Serbian agreement to partition with fast-tracking Serbia's membership. And some stupid american political analyst will say that this was the only way to stop Russian penetration into the Balkans.

Albania as state has never threaten another state and I cant see Kosovo threatning its neighbors either. Kosovars believe just as much as Serbs do that they are in the right side of law and they are entitle to their state. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Zoran, trying to offer a Lada to somebody that has a Mercedes aren’t we? (casual_visitor)

At least it would be your very own Lada! You could drive it wherever you wanted whenever you wanted - unlike your current Mercedes where you have to sit in the back seat and be told where you are going and when you will get there.

Hey, where did you get that idea? No Thank you - we don't want Kosovo Albanians under our control. We are offering self-rule in our more than autonomy, less than independence proposal.

Zoran, trying to offer a Lada to somebody that has a Mercedes aren’t we?
You can keep your Lada and all the other Lada’s you are trying to offer.
There were times when Lada would have been considered (you know, before you tried to get rid of us altogether).
Not anymore, not today, not tomorrow, not ever.
It was a one-time-offer and the voucher expired long time ago now.
The value of the “more than autonomy – less than independence” voucher stands today at 0.00001 cent.
Save yourself some money, stop producing them. The paper alone is worth more than the voucher.

vuk he is the best in the serbian goverment and he is trying to bring again talks on the table between albos and serbs but what he is offering is not enough for kosovars to go again under serbian rule so like USA said just leave along Kosovo-Independence and move everybody forward,,,,

I am glad the US and EU have taken it upon themselves to look after you lot. Serbia wouldn't do it even if you paid us. No thanks!

However, we are not going to allow our sacred land to be stolen by a group of terrorists and war criminals. You can choose to live in prison camp "Kosova" or choose freedom by negotiation. It's your choice!

So once ICJ gives its opinion momentum should shift towards recognition. Everyone is aware that ICJ will never go against the will of the people of Kosovo for simple reason as it knows the conditions that Serbia imposed on Kosovo while it was in control of it. Peace to all.

Where does he see UNMIK representing Kosovo. This is the right time to end this illusion and recognize the reality that Kosovo is lost. Hand in heart and the fact is that peacefully -- Kosovo Albanians will never agree to come under Serbian control again no matter what Serbia promises or offers.

Other means of gaining control of Kosovo are neither desirable nor achievable in the near future.
