Concern over threats against B92 reporters

Why doesn't B92 tell the world why "nationalist" soccer hooligans threaten B92 journalists and the Serbian public is indifferent. Because B92 is a western propaganda media outlet that is pro-american, pro-eu, pro-albanian. I see nothing but criticism of all things Serbian in your reports and ineffective attempts at brainwashing the Serbian public. Maybe if you said something nice about the Serbs just once, people would care about you. Reveal the fact that during the "Kosovo is Serbia", the Tadic government sent more policemen to protect your building than to protect the us embassy.

If B92 was pro-albanian ,then every single coment of mine should have been posted. Instead ,about 20% of my coments get posted.

So my JohnBoy,b92 is very much pro-serbian but it reports balanced news, therefore is a pretty good media reporter. I don't believe on threats or violence on any news media regardless of their reporting. If you don't like it don't read or listen from said media news agency and/or newspaper.

Good that there are independent journalists and media in Serbia, like B92 is! Keep on doing your good job!

Bad that there are people in Serbia like JohnBoy who try to justify those threads and violance! Shame on you!

One of our early leaders, Thomas Jefferson, said about democracy that he would prefer newspapers without government than government without newspapers. (And he was himself personally and viciously attacked by the newspapers of the day.)

A few highly publicized convictions for assault would certainly help reduce the swagger of the cowards who attack women in front of their homes.

Western propaganda machine, Eastern propaganda machine or my aunt's prpaganda machine---These journalists get up in the morning just like you and I, and send their kids of to school before going of to work to make a living and pay bills.It's a job brother,just like any other job, and these people should be allowed to do their job in a hostile-free environment.You guys are no different than "Clinton" and NATO slamming rockets and killing innocent journalists,or any other terrorists that harm journalists.It's easy to harm journalists,they are easy pray. You should be treated on the streets by the general public and bystanders as rapists and purse snatchers are treated,and be run-down and talked to.I don't want an image in Serbia like the province of Kosovo and Croatia.Do you???

Where is the public outcry for violence against journalists?

Free speech is in line with the Law of God,and one of the greatest contributions from the West to humans.Good and bad governments throughout history have ALWAYS used media to influence and push policy,and they ALWAYS will,because that's how the world goes around.Look at CNN and what ugly liers they were during all of your conflicts.But many Serbs know darn well, that for every CNN in the West there is a historian and a news organization that calls events as they truly are.We all think and see things and events different from each other, and no one news organization can satisfy all minds. Free media allows us to vent our frustrations by providing ALL points of view,and thus ALL feel that they have been represented.B92 is a breath of fresh air for Serbia and it should be viewed and protected as a National Treasure is.B92 has a very difficult job of waking those which stubbornly want to remain asleep.B92 brings Serbia face to face with all of her "demons" that needed facing a long time ago. Unfortunately some still choose to see B92 as some sort of Western conspiracy and propaganda machine that wants to expose Serbia's "evils" for the Wests taking. I knew a Romanian after Caucescu's fall that was so infuriated with the West when the West aired photos and film of Romanian orphans and their sad conditions. This guy and many others that shared his views were ready to sweep this tragedy under a rug and sacrifice those kids'and future kids' well being, for the truth which THEY deemed as a shameful image for a poor country under a brutal dictator. I believe that Milosevich had every right to defend Serbia and Serbia's, but that does not change the fact that he was terrible and negative for Serbia and harmed Serbia in so many other ways. Take only the best from the West like you have been thus far and use it to build a good,safe and economically strong nation for future generations.Like Phoenix rising from the ashes.Don't be hypocrites and don't ever fear and attack Truth--- because that's all there is, all else is illusions that "we" want to see and believe in.Protect you freedoms and stay out of EU.
