Just because one day we're in the 20th century and the next in the 21st doesn't exonerate Serbia from its inhumane "solution" to ethnic problems. Now you propose Russia's version of security for Europe, while Europe has its own security structure. Shall we do this because at the time being Russia has no say? Serbia can be a satellite of Russia all it wants but spare us because we're not buying it.

The ICJ opinion on Kosovo will open up the possibility to reach a compromise regarding the future status of the province, according to FM Vuk Jeremić.

Based on what I read in the ICJ transcripts, this is where this seems to be heading - the negotiating table. If it does, it will be deemed as a victory for Serbia (and the world).

In his speech at the 17th OSCE Ministerial Council in Athens, the minister said that “Serbia had created a new model for solving ethnic conflicts in the 21st century by choosing a peaceful and non-confrontational approach”.

This model is "new" only for Vuk and the Serbs.

It's quite easy to sense the fear from the progress Serbia is making. After the first set of transcripts, I can already sense victory. Not that the ICJ will rule in favour of either side, because I doubt it will, but more to do with the UDD failing, which both Russia and China will confirm during the ICJ case.

In the end, it will come down to negotiations once again and this is the victory Serbia is seeking. In this case, independence will automatically be removed from the agenda as it has already failed and all sides agree the status quo is not sustainable.

As for the new security model, it will include Russia with its influence in Europe and Serbia. Wait and see, it will happen.

The good FM is only echoing what Russia wants and will get in the long run – a replacement to NATO.

Cudos to Jeremic for being so creative. Quite honestly I truly respect his ingenuity. But honestly after all the bloodshed perpetrated in the Balkans, mainly by Serbian forces and their satellites who is willing to take a chance and try the "peaceful and non-confrontational approach".

Depending on the IJC decision on Kosovo going against Serbia it wouldnt surprise me if they through their proxy Dodik go about carving up Bosnia as an act of self compensation ....
