"That is a great pitty. In particular when you look around the UK and see so many differenct faces, so many different languages and backgrounds. Many live here rightly or wrongly."

I will have to disagree with you; 92.1% of the people in the UK are white from British and Irish decent. The other are 7.9% are of other ethnicities. That is low compared to other European and Western countries. In the UK the main languages you will hear are English, Welsh, Scots, Gealic (all UK languages), Hindi-Urdu, Polish (only two non UK languages) and some smaller languages in London. In Serbia you will hear many more languages than in the UK. Also the majirity of people in the UK from Pakistan and India regard English as their first/ main langauge. Especially with the younger generations. I live in Bradford, which has the largest Pakistani population outside of Pakistan, hardly any of my Pakistani mates can speak Urdu, it is their grandparents who are the main speakers of Urdu.

"But 2011 just to be able to visit a country, well a real shame." Serbs are welcome to visit the UK right now and have been able to do so for over 50 years. You just need to get a visa first. As Serbia gets deeper into European intergration through the SAA, the UK will abolish visas for Serbian citizens. No-one is saying that Serbs cannot visit the UK.

It is a pity. But I guess it is not high up on the agenda. I don't think it is anti Serb.

Of course, many have and will continue to come to the UK but I can't blame anyone for deciding to go elsewhere instead when it is easier. But the pound is low to the euro guys!

Mr. M.
The English system has identity crisis. Nothing against Serbia or any other balkan country.
They just got a sense of supremacy towards 'the little europeans'.

The other point I fail to understand is how can you abolish a visa for one country just to intruduce it to another?! Surely one you allow visa free travel that can not be taken away and countries requiring visas will still have to apply till such time they are no longer needed.
