Two Corridor 10 sections opened for traffic

Two sections of the Corridor 10 highway in between Horgoš and Novi Sad have been opened for traffic.

Dean, 3 lanes, I guess it is a matter of how much you want to spend.... In Switzerland we have 3 lanes only around Zurich, in Germany around Frankfurt and some larger cities, I wouldn't know EU countries that are having a full 3 lanes motorways, so I guess it definitely has a reason why...
And remember how terrible that road was not long ago, so I guess it is an already hugh improvement.

And why, when they are already doing the highway, or so called Corridor 10, they do not decide to make solid comfortable 3 lanes per direction road, but instead of that minimising it on narrow two lanes with just kind of half emergence lane.
You will not find such "restricted width" highway anywhere else in Europe.
Guess if they are doing infrastructure work they should be doing it to last and to be sufficient for decades to come?
