interesting to read about wishful thinking here - on both sides.

neither are the US "the one and only global superpower", nor is Russia back in it´s former position. but they are rapidly coming back, it can be seen in many aspects, for those who do not close their eyes before the facts.

as for China, they are emerging too, of course, but as long as they are involved in the US-american finance-system, there is not much to expect from them, since they won´t fire the bullets into their own feet.

but they have already shown their interest in challenging the Dollar as the main currency in the world´s trade, and there is no indication for them to fail with that project - especially when Russia supports exactly the same thing.

so there are interesting times in front of us, and to be honest, I think Serbia is in the better position.

not because I am serbian, but because the facts, (and my dear albanian friends if I say facts, I MEAN facts) that are pointing towards that conclusion.

this crippled puppet entity on southern serbian territory is only a historical episode.

and as we all know, every episode ends some day.

the only shame is, that those k-albanian cleptocrats like Touchie and his co-gangsters will have taken away a lot of money( foreign money of course )that could have been of help to the average K-albanian who is in need.

so, the bottom-line is that some albanian kiddies will still claim to be right in their wishful thinking here, not only in regard to their obsessive fantasy of being the native population or even descendants of the "illyrians", but also in presenting simple criminals as "national heroes".

remember, my dear kids, the Jashari´s will be forgotten, the future generations of K-albanians will live peacefully in southern Serbia.

that´s what awaits you, and you cannot do anything about it. it won´t be yours to decide about it.

Based on these comments I have to say that Serbs are too lucky to live in countries such as US, Canada and Australia. Well, Iranians have same luck!.

As a real American with Serbian mother and South American father, I can give you some insight into what's going on in the US, Real Canadian. Some of our weapon systems are the best in the world, particularly our aviation. However, Russia has caught up to a large extent in aviation, yet it still hasn't kept pace with our latest aircraft. Regarding ground forces, our military is stretched thin due to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, although our commitment to Iraq is finally to be reduced. However, Obama is pledging greater support for the war in Afghanistan, so many of the troops once committed to Iraq may be on their way to Afghanistan. The point is that we are stretched thin and that leaves us vulnerable. Are we still a superpower? Absolutely. However, there is no saying we'd be able to beat Russia or China in a war right now. The only experience we have fighting against China was during the Korean war and it didn't go so well as the sheer number of Chinese was overwhelming.
The problem is that Albanians are playing tough guy with our muscle. Let me break the news to you...The US military is not your military. The 1990s are over and Clinton and Bush are no longer president. Further, we have so many concerns here that it's nearly impossible to foresee our support for Kosovo being unlimited. Why don't you all do something for yourselves instead of sitting in Cafes all day sipping expensive coffees with money you haven't earned yourselves? If you are so tough and so sure of yourselves, why don't you go and take over the north of Kosovo? Because you cannot. Have a nice day.

Sorry to bust your bubble Tom but the only current superpower is US. I do agree that China is on its way to becoming one but Russia lost that title long time ago thanks God.

Does the leader of a superpower go to China and beg the Chinese for money?
I don`t think so!

Let me begin, some other Canadian (or real Canadian, whatever that means...must be part native/aboriginal - but I doubt it) on here fails to realize anything about geopolitics and how the world changed last August. The Americans fed Georgia satellite intelligence, plus gave them the green light to invade - South Ossetia and Abhkazia. It failed, and the Russians politely escorted the Georgians back to their territory, whilst gaining valuable information from confiscated American toys. Shortly afterwards, we know the outcome - two more countries on the world map.
Secondly, the U.S. as a sole superpower - who you kidding? With bad economics, mostly from the U.S. pathetic banking/mortgage fiasco that almost led everyone to a second world depression, had not many other countries forced and in unision intervened in the financial markets. I can't think of any superpowers in world history that printed so much money and caused so many wars, asides from one...think back to 1939 and a few years afterwards. Getting back to geopolitics, Russia, as well as the other BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) have finally reasserted themselves on the world stage; some politically, economically and militarily (Brazil solely economically). The U.S. is daily deflating, and falling and failing in every respect. Printing more money and more bad economics by the federal reserve and White House won't help. The empire is crumbling from within, just as Rome did in its day. The world is becoming more multi-polar, as opposed to unipolar it became 1989 - 2008 (fall of Communism and the U.S.S.R.). The American voice, and the combined Anglo-American military muscle is weak, new powers are emerging. American hegemony is dead - thank god.

If only the disturb part of Serbian nation did not decide to get rid of the parts of her clothes, namely single shoe, while Chinese delegation was in the visit to Serbian Parliament would be much better and much more respectable toward Chinese.

If it may...my excuses from the side of averagely not-disturb part of Serbian nation to honorable Chinese nation.

China is not a democracy. And a lot need to change in China.
But they are right on Kosovo. Don't breach international law.

Look to Slovakia. A mutual agreed deal is possible!

hope you'll have better luck with them than Albanians Enver Hoxha did. China pretty much stopped working with Hoxha after trade agreements with US. I personally think China is all about money, which is good news for Serbia if they want to invest but don't think about this as brothers in arm or something like that.
