Kosovo-USA - When people have to survive on money earned abroad (and I don't doubt that lots of people work very hard to do this, just as in the Serbian and other diasporas) it does not constitute a healthy economy.

Hats off to everyone working hard to support their own families, but most of them would far rather do this at home.

Why not sometimes talk constructively and realistically about problems facing Kosovo as do some other pro independence commentators? You would be far more respected.

I must say that kosova has an unemployemnt problem, but thanks to Kosovars that live abroad andsend a lot of money to their families, which eases up the hardship of unemployment. But,Kosova does not need to get loans left and right from every tom, dick and harry.

Kosovo-USA - Whatever your beef is, why not just give it a rest? Serbia has had decades of war and is doing the best to put things back together. They have their independence and pride in tact, and are forging relationships on an equal footing throughout the world using admirable and professional diplomacy.

Serbia is part of Europe and speaking as a Brit, the vast majority of their diaspora are hard working often very well educated people who are friendly and integrate well into other modern European societies.

You come here on to a Serbian news site and just slate everything about Serbia, even though half of your name is a misspelt version of a province in Serbia. A province which is supported and run by the international community.

The other half of your name is 'USA' which is also facing massive debt and economic problems for many years to come. You have enough in your own bag to worry about and comment on.

So please stop blindly slating Serbia and everything Serbian, and being so repetitively hostile and full of vile - it is boring and pointless. At least hang your comments on something thoughtful every now and again, instead of pulling apart every effort to move forward by Serbia.

expressing hope that the EU will provide financial and technological assistance to Serbia to that end.

It seems like there is no end in site for assistance that Serbia needs.Even unborn children are in debt, due to dire economical situation in Serbia.
