Parliament continues statute debate

The Serbian parliament wrapped up initial debates of the law for transferring authorities on <a href="http://www.b92.net/eng/news/politics-article.php?yyyy=2009&mm=11&dd=24&nav_id=63256" class="text-link" target= "_blank">Tuesday </a>and began debating the Vojvodina statute.

Wrong!!! 1st of all 65% are Serbs, 2nd, out of 65% at least 15 - 20% are mixed nationalities and 3rd, most of the Serbian population in Vojvodina are Westernized Serbs (Lale) that have little in common with the Serbs from Serbia or Bosnia. So let`s schedule a referendum and I think you`ll be surprised with the outcome. You are showing a lot of aggression towards Vojvodina these days and again Serbian nationalists are looking to blame somebody, anybody for all the problems Serbia`s having in the last 20 years. Don`t you there to touch Vojvodina. Remember, it started with Vojvodina, it should end here.

There is no room for fear when 75% of population is Serb. What is your story?

I agree. Some people just try to create unnecessary panic.

if they adopt this statute the Serbs in vojvodina will rise with anger and remember 75% of vojvodina is Serbian and they want to see this statute then the problem will be bigger than it is. ask the people what they want and they say vojvodina is multi ethnics well it used to be at 1 time but now its 75%+ Serbs and other have declined in population so it does show the politicians juts want another division to fill their pockets but the are forgetting who the majority is and who has the last say(THE PEOPLE)

no statute because that's what the people of the province would say. let them vote and let them see the statute and not just a few parties in the government the people are tired of these separation attempts of their country. the people are ready to speak and they will be loud.
