There is story by a Serbian EU cheerleader that says that under best circumstances Serbia can join in 2018-2020, and that's if they recognize Kosova and catch Mladic tomorrow.

For example, you have to have your SAA ratified by 27 parliaments (at least 2 years) and THEN start negotiations that take years and then it takes 2-3 years to get in. Of course 22 parliaments recognize Kosova and many have embassies so expect some stops and delays if you say "Kosovo is Serbia."
