EU integrations for Serbia can only take place once the state arrests and extradites the genocidal war criminal Mladic as international and EU law stipulates.

Croatia and Macedonia want to join the EU because they know that EU membership will lead to a better standard of living for the people.

This is for sure true about Croatian, Macedonian and Serbian mafiosi. EU membership - like it happened with Hungarian mafiosi - does lead to a better living standard. For instance our "friend" Zeljko, the mayor of Split can have a better Ferrari. And Miskovic can join the Ferrari owners club. Or maybe he joined already.

As for the rest of us: I simply do not know. Maybe you are right, maybe not. Sure, it is better to have all borders and divisions removed plus all this insanity with post-YU "country-lets" to be stopped.

Zoran,

I read that Tadic is planning to submit the EU candidacy application in December.

I think you Serbs should celebrate on the day Tadic will submit the EU candidacy application.

Kosovo-USA, will the day ever arrive when you are able to read an article here and not feel the compulsion to make a knee jerk negative comment about Serbia that is based on nthing other than your own blinkered and somewhat narrow minded view? There can be few here that would read an article that mentions Serbia asking others in the region for some practical advice and decide that the ideal comment to that would be to find something dismissive and anti Serb to say. With an approach like that how can you expect anyone to take your comments seriously. Lets try and keep it sensible and considered shall we? Thanks.

Well,well
I thought that Serbia is ahead of everybody in this part of the world, but apparently not.

Kosovo-USA, this is the queue to the abattoir so being ahead is not necessarily the best. Fortunately we will have another election and a chance to escape.

Varga agreed that since Croatia and Macedonia, "who are ahead of us" are participating, it will be an opportunity for Serbia to "ask for advice".
