Serbian, Macedonian presidents meet

It is good that we are playing a game with Macedonia but we should also point out that unfortunately Greeks are our better friends in every respect and unless they change their policy on Kosovo we will support Greek case when it comes to Eu integration of Macedonia. That will make them think twice before they blindly obey their master USA.

Since FYROM's recognition of Kosovo I have not had any problem supporting Greece's position. Greece has supported Serbia far more than FYROM.

Macedonia is Greek and not this fake state called macedonia. i support Greece and the Greek people on this name issue and tadic is a terrible president its time for a new and real Serbian president.

What is Tadic thinkig! Serbia should return the favour to Macedonia for recognizing Kosovo. Serbia should forget about our neighbour to the south and stick to our real friends like the Greeks. Macedonia will be majority muslim in a couple of years so lets forget all form of cooperation with that backstabbing state!

The Greeks are good people.

I really like the Macedonian people, but their government messed up, in no way can I support any diplomatic relations with Macedonia until the rescind their recognition.

Serbia has failed to take a newtral position in the quarrel of the two potential allies. It's another celebrate day on the Albanian street. I believe those were the most stupid statements made on our side. If I knew how to congratulate in Albanian I would do that. Together with the wrong time choosen for the ICJ this stupid regional politics makes me dout what are the real motives of President Tadic & Co.

Mr. Tadic be carefull because Greece would not like to hear that. Don't be suprised if they pay you back by recognizing kosova in short future.

Wait a minute... Only two days ago Jeremic slammed Macedonia when he met with hie Greek counterpart. Actually, he would not mention the name Macedonia he said something like the country whose capitol city is Skopje. Here you have Tadic saying exactly the oposite.

1. R.Macedonia has fabricated a false Macedonian Orthodox Church which is in reality a bastion of the Serbian Orthodox Church (all monasteries and churches of Mac is in reality either Serb or Bulgarian.)

2. accepting the name of r.mac is a huge mistake towards Greece, which has better diplomacy with Serbia (Greece has not acknowledged the independence of Kosovo)

Well, the only thing to say is to re-iterate the chain of possible events:

FYROMania --> Pyromania --> Megaloalbania (Greater Albania).

Is Tadic purposly trying to lose support for Serbia?
There is so precious little of it left in Europe and there he goes, backing a country which backed our enemy instead of a country which backs us.

What's in a name? A trivial issue at best. Since the economies of the countries in the region are light years of reaching EU standards (even Greece's), politicians like to rally the peasants over an issue that will have no bearing on the politics of the region.

Serbia finally 'plays' politics.

Remember, there were recently elections in Greece, and the new president was born in the U.S. - he had to work hard to eliminate the American accent from his Greek. (He also attended college here.) This isn't to say he'll automatically follow the U.S. line, but there will probably be more flexibility in Greek positions than in the recent past. The Greeks have been playing politics since even before they invented democracy, they're not going to commit political suicide for inat.
