I just don't understand what any of this has to do with Albanians.
Mladic had nothing to do with any of you so why are you so interested in his capture?

Your Ceku was in Croatia meddling in something which does not even concern him or any Albanians and you don't condemn him for it but you are all out with your pitchforks and torches for Mladic who was not even near Kosovo.

Dear Mircea,

why do you say "stop dreaming".??...we all here know that since Roumania was granted membership ...EVERY country is up to the job...

"Amer,

Albania was NOT granted candidate status on Monday. EU Foreign Ministers just authorized the European Commission to assess whether Albania is ready to start accession negotiations.

This does not mean that Albania was granted candidate status. So, stop dreaming.
(Mircea, 18 November 2009 20:31) "

This is how UPI is reporting whatever it was that happened on Monday:

"Albania wins EU candidate status

BRUSSELS
Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Albania has become an official candidate for EU membership, EU officials say.

EU foreign ministers Monday backed Albania's request for candidate status, with ambassadors from the 27 EU member states endorsing the move last week at a meeting in Brussels, the EUobserver reported Tuesday."

Granted, they didn't decide whether or not to start talks - there are still many steps and many years ahead. But it's progress.

could give some value to your remark if we had some evidence that Mladic was hiding in a cave somewhere in Afganistan/Pakistan, together with his dearest buddy Bin Laden.

Just read my comment again and maybe you'll understand it's real meaning...

Dear The Swiss,

If you can't realize that the Balkans is domestic territory for Serbian intelligence –take a second thought!

I could give some value to your remark if we had some evidence that Mladic was hiding in a cave somewhere in Afganistan/Pakistan, together with his dearest buddy Bin Laden.

the Belo-Russians I personally know had no knowledge about the 1.34 million tax free reward on Mladic...
(Olli, 18 November 2009 15:15)

Maybe they went at the same school as the one that are/were looking for Bin Laden and for the WMD in Irak..., yes indeed a lot of mess in this agencies!!

Albania's being granted candidate status on Monday may help to focus minds in Belgrade on doing whatever it takes to meet the EU's conditions.

My greetings to Serbia's intelligence and security agencies, those among the most ineffective I know.

In case there exists will to find and arrest Mladic, it sure is hard to digest the level of unprofessionalism present in the BIA, (Bezbednosno-Informativna Agencija, the Security Intelligence Agency), in the VOA, (Vojno-Obavestajna Agencija, the Military Intelligence Agency), in the VBA, (Vojno-Bezbednosna Agencija, the Military Security Agency), in the J-2 of the Army Head Quarters (Uprava za izvidjacko-obavestajne poslove, the Reconnaissance and Intelligence Department) and in the MUP (Ministarstvo Unutrasnjih Poslova, the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs).

This offices have as many investigators as it is hard to read the list above. Not to mention their respective agencies in foreign countries. Serbian agencies have the manpower to track each person that ever was in contact with Mladic. Every single one.

One example: I was more than ashtonished when I learned the Belo-Russians I personally know had no knowledge about the 1.34 million tax free reward on Mladic...
