Operas in Latin?

...back to school, the most part of operas are in italian and not in latin. Don't confuse them with the gregorian songs...

The language of operas is indeed, Italian. Finnish and Hungarian can compete with it tough. Roman languages sound OK, probably the Portuguese sounds the most unusual for me.
Albanian sounds like Portuguese, with the exception that I can understand some little fragments in Portuguese, not in Albanian.

Slavic languages not particularly beautiful but not to ugly.

Mongolian, most German and most Semitic dialects are indeed a "special" "treatment" to the ear tough. But since Wagner succeed to introduce German to operas, why not use Mongolian than, too?

(But I really like to talk in German. No offense, great to communicate, but as language Italian sounds better. Independent of that, Germany is one of my top destination to travel, Italy is NOT, probably falls behind Mongolia)

I would really apologize, as italian, for the behavior of this little man which represents only a part of the people of the italian country. He does not know obviously the difference between to be in a Bar and in an internazional meeting. And I can tell you that his "Milanese" accent sounds terribly stupid!

the shorter Interior Minister Ivica Dačić take his place, stating that Šutanovac looked like a “giant” next to him because of his height.

Maybe Tadic could have called the italian pocket-boy president danny de vito.Berlu must have some serious inferiority comlexes as a man.Not long ago he was pushing the byceps of bulgarian pm a former sportsman saying that this is how a pm should look like.

Berlusconi, Serbia loves you!!! You "kill" us with your unique humor. Especially when you annoy the queen of England. You should write a book and title it: "Berlusconi's Guide to the Art of How to Enjoy Life to the Fullest".
Also, since the Serbs were busy fighting the Ottoman Turks for 500 years while Italy was enjoying renaissance, enlightment and practicing opera--you should give us a break for not learning that art.
As for our language, I do agree that it may not be as suitable for opera as some other languages. It's too masculine like German and Russian.

Berlusconi has a great sense of humor and just looking at the photos of this two you could tell what a fun trip that was for Serbians. And Clooney has nothing on Tadic nor any other European president.

Tadic is a goodlooking dude. He should take it as a compliment. Serbs in general are goodlooking people, especially the girls. Ahhh! : )

Berlusconi can say what he likes about the Serbian language but frankly I find the Italian language annoying and can't help but cringe when I hear it... apart from their operas of course. :)

Why doesn't B92 report the story about prime minister Broccoli's height inferiority complex and how he was too embarrassed to stand next to the NATO marine for a picture.

"to get exposure" and "embrace". Was it worthwile for him and his country to spend 3 days in Rome to get for result the hardly flattering language comment of Berlusconi?
(Joe, 14 November 2009 15:16)

Well Serbia has a Clooney and you have a continiousely tanned President, only el capo de tuti capi can joke like this :)

Joe

Tadic is almost constantly on the road to foreign capitals "to get exposure" and "embrace". Was it worthwile for him and his country to spend 3 days in Rome to get for result the hardly flattering language comment of Berlusconi?

Tadić will be speaking in Serbia, which I don’t find to be a very beautiful language, ours is a lot more musical. I have yet to hear an opera in Serbian…” Berlusconi continued

Sometimes one wonders whether to laugh or cry with Berlusconi's comments.People will remember that he made similar comments on Obama by saying he's"young, handomsome and tanned" and perceived this comment as having racial connotations.

Most Italians, however, would agree with Berlusconi that he just cracked a joke and wouldn't understand what all the fuss is about.

As far as his comments on Tadic and Serbian language are concerned i will give my spleen a rest and avoid any further commenting.

As an Italian with many Serbian friends living here in Italy, I hope that Serbia could proceed towards EU integration. Happily for the Belgrade government, nowadays Italy is ruled by a capable leadership which is very different from the criminal one formed by former communists who bombed Serbia in 1999.

Tadic was better off going to David Letterman show and have Dave crack some jokes. I wonder if he regrets attending this so called summit?
