(LE DIPLOMAT, 12 November 2009 13:43)

Kosovo is going nowhere and never will until Serbia gives it the green light. The Albanians are going to wither on the vine and just disappear. The reasoning behind EULEX has not dawned on the Albanians, they are there to control you and your politicians, not Serbia.

Kosovo is not going forward but simply sinking very slowly into nothingness till one day in the not too distant future the EU packs up and just leaves you.

Just ask yourself what is so valuable in Kosovo, industry – no; mineral resources – nothing to speak of; water resources – no; military base – yes. So tell me why is the west going to spend billions of dollars to bring industry to Kosovo? No they will not do that at all. Number of employed Albanians – 2 million.

Montenegro is an economic basket case that relies more and more on EU money to survive because without it they would last about 2, or being very generous, three days before collapsing.

Serbia will not do a thing to Albanians in Kosovo, they will leave it to EULEX and co to look after you. Remember these words 10 years from now.

It's the Montenegrin PM who is blabbing rubbish here and all we are doing is reponding to this dribble.
This is not advising Milo but telling him to shut up and live with the mess he created. It's a reponse to his statement. If having a response is the same as what Mesic was doing then you are very much mistaken.

Milo,

Then you should live within the shadow and join an Albanina federation. With friends like you, who needs enemies. I'm positive that majority in Serbia do not care about you, or the bananna republic you are creating anymore. Stick to tourism and cigarette smuggling, as false friendship is not needed.

Milo you bring great Shame on the memory of Njegos and I'm ashamed to share blood lines with you.

Your government will far, your party will be disbanded and the Montenegrin people will curse your name for generations to come.

The days your corrupt government can stay in power through force is nearly over.

Nostradamus??? :)

However, the interview was much more interesting: anyone with basic political education culd foresee that the this [independence] will be the epilogue of kosova's status, if not before 1999 then from 1999 onwards and with the UNSEC 1244 resolution there were no doubts, he said.

CG, PRN, Matthew & co.,

Here's some first hand info about Montenegro.

CG, a great number of those who voted for Milo and his party last times did so because there still are people with silly thinking. Truly progressive democratic Montenegrins are mad at Djukanovic -but even more so at people with opinions as yours. You provide guarantees for Milo's victory. If you don't mind I tell it straight and simple: you work for him and his party.

PRN, you wrote:

"Bravo Djukanovic. Your recognition was the last nail in Serbian coffin. You are part of Democratic world."

You take great care to openly display your ignorance about what's going on in Montenegro. The man you hail a democrat buys votes from people by promising them jobs, protection from prosecution, business chances without need to obey laws. He sells jobs and positions against membership in his party. He has created a ruling oligarchy in the country. I believe you must well be aware of this. But you don't mind as it is so pretty close to democracy in Albanian way.

And Matthew,

Djukanovic will not fall. Most reasons to this I have already given above. But there's still one left: An opponent to Djukanovic who promotes real and transparent democracy has no chances in today's Montenegro. Only thing he offers to people is democracy. No other gains or profits. And this isn't enough for most people. It has no worth nor purpose in majority''s thinking.

In a society where honesty is a fool's attribute there's no demand for a democratic statesman. In case Djukanovic would personally lose, someone of his ilk inherits his chair.

"Once you were already unified...why didn't you build at that time?"

Because Serbia was under heavy sanctions as soon as "Yugoslavia" started to unraveling.

The wars of secession started immediately and Serbia was put under sanctions, then the heavy NATO bombing and continued refugee and displace problem - which it still hasn't recovered from.

Under Yugoslavia, it was the Slovenes and Croats who were in the topmost leadership positions and decided which areas to develop and what to do.

It is only after Yugoslavia has gone and Serbia is trying to recover from the sanctions and war years, that it is started to come up with a few more logical projects.

"Đukanović talks exactly as my neighbor in Montenegrin village who stores his wood, unused bricks, tools etc. on my backyard blocking my access there -in a very apparent aim to consider this land as his."

-- Haha, that's a story I hear all too often about life in CG. I decedied to build a house on your property when you weren't looking - with the wood and materials I found in your tool shed. But stop being angry at my blatant display of land grab. Let's just be neighbors, and if you're still bitter about what I did, you're living too much in the past.

Better for Podgorica to withdraw recognition as others have said. Such an act is little more than symbolic and does little to hinder Kosovo's already internationally supported status, but would go a long way towards repairing those relations with the one state Podgorica recognizes as its most important partner in the region. Besides, it's not as if the Montenegrin population is going to get all choked up about the withdrawal.

(CG, 11 November 2009 20:42)

Why did you wait so long with that highway? Once you were already unified...why didn't you build at that time?

It seems that you always try to react instead of act.

Milo,

Then you should live within the shadow and join an Albanina federation. With friends like you, who needs enemies. I'm positive that majority in Serbia do not care about you, or the bananna republic you are creating anymore. Stick to tourism and cigarette smuggling, as false friendship is not needed.

Mr.Djukanovic used to deal in cigarette smugling...people say.He runs Montenegro like an Mafioso...people say.He is a VERY SMART DIPLOMAT people say also.....I think Mr.Djukanovic has made many mistakes (Most of us have)but he has tried the best for his family and he is THE BEST politician in Montenegro (He can win as many times as he want in Montenegro).Mr.Djukanovic understands what many serb writers here DON'T.He understands that Serbia has lost FOREVER the power to rule Kosovo. It is in the best interest for Serbia to have a good relationship with Montenegro and other countries around Balkans.

Stop advising the Montenegrian PM. When President Mesic advised Serbs in Bosnia, all the Serbs were so indignant at it.
(luis, 12 November 2009 09:53)

It's the Montenegrin PM who is blabbing rubbish here and all we are doing is reponding to this dribble.
This is not advising Milo but telling him to shut up and live with the mess he created. It's a reponse to his statement. If having a response is the same as what Mesic was doing then you are very much mistaken.

"Build relationship on trust." Holy cow, what is the PM saying. How can you build trust when you rigged the referendum in 2006, and now you want to talk about trust. I feel sorry for Montenegro and the whole region.
